I think The Netherlands is a bad matchup for the US. They get away with their wannabe England style in CONCACAF, but I don’t see Van Gaal playing it safe against them like Southgate did. I see him going for the throat. 2-0 or 3-0.
I hope so because Ecuador had the Dutch shook. They couldn't seem to match their intensity and little by little began to attack less. If Ecuador scores that goal instead of it hitting the post it could have been a very different story. I hope this is a lesson to be learned by them and pushes them to be way more aggressive.
