not coming years but coming year no plural.:whistling:
-he mentioned twice that in past 2 months that he wants to play U21 Euro in Summer
-I still think he's NOT gonna want to play next U21 cycle. So this Euro is likely limit.
-so if not March Senior NT call up, needs one in August.

04 LB Ba signs pro contract at Plastic Leipzig

Interesting past Leipzig pro contract had 0 quotes from players and coach. That they have them tells you it could be a serious pro contract. And unlike others he's getting some game time too and not towards end of season. Been clear for awhile that Ba-Raebiger were only ones getting integration shots. Raebiger left because he wanted to and Leipzig didn't want him too.

SANOUSSY BA AWARDS PRO CONTRACT UNTIL 2025
18-year-old youngster receives first professional contract with a term of two and a half years | Already three short assignments for the 1st team

Contract extension with Sanoussy Ba! The 18-year-old has been part of RB Leipzig's professional squad since this season and has now received a professional contract until June 2025.

Sanou switched from SpVgg Bayern Hof to the Red Bulls in the summer of 2016 at the age of twelve and has since played through all the U-teams up to the RBL U19.

This season, the versatile winger made his professional debut and made his first appearance in a top test against Liverpool. Finally, the first competitive minutes followed in the DFB Cup duels against FC Teutonia 05 Ottensen and Hamburger SV as well as in the Bundesliga away game at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.

He was also in the squad for the UEFA Champions League game at Celtic Glasgow and gained international experience in six appearances for the U19s in the UEFA Youth League. In 20 games for the RBL U19, the right footer contributed three goals and one assist.

Sanoussy Ba is currently a Germany U19 international (two games) and previously played four internationals for the DFB U18 team.

"I'm very proud that I was able to sign my first professional contract and it's a great signal from the club. I feel incredibly comfortable at RB Leipzig and can develop excellently here every day. This season I made the leap into the professional team and was able to play my first minutes in the DFB Cup and the Bundesliga. That shows that I'm on the right track, but of course I have to keep working hard to make it into the squad for the long term. That is my big goal and I will do everything to achieve it.”

    MARCO ROSE:
“Sanoussy is a good and talented boy. It's fun to work with him. It has outstanding dynamics, can be used on both feet and is flexible. I'm happy for him about his first professional contract."

01 W Aksakal gets pro contract at Hertha. Good for him but this makes 0 sense. And continues to show how clueless this club is when it comes to their own youth. Popp, Mendes, Dardai should be prioritized not Aksakal.

PS NOT FROM YOUR ACADEMY. HE'S FROM UNION BERLIN

    ENSAR AKSAKAL GOES PRO
The next Berlin boy from our football academy makes the leap to professionalism at Hertha BSC. Ensar Aksakal signs a long-term working paper and commits himself to our Spreeatheners until 2025. "Dynamism, goal threat, variability: Ensar brings many qualities and has already proven his potential in our U23. We are pleased that he now wants to take his next steps at Hertha BSC," emphasizes Fredi Bobic. Pablo Thiam is also looking forward to it. "It's always a recognition of our work together when a talent gets a contract with our professionals. We are happy for Ensar and look forward to his further development," says our academy director.

    In father's footsteps
Aksakal himself, whose father Sezgin also wore our flag on his chest between 1981 and 1988, is looking forward to the tasks ahead: “Signing this first professional contract here with Hertha is a very special feeling. I'm very proud and grateful and I'll give it my all to work my way up to the Bundesliga team," emphasizes the 21-year-old. The left winger switched from 1. FC Union to our blue and whites in 2020. In a total of 32 games for our U23s, the right footer has scored six times since then and scored just as many goals. The native of the capital has five points (three goals, two assists) in his eight appearances this season. Now numerous goal participations and special moments with our flag on the chest are to follow!

one can tell that quality of youth is different just looking at clubs.

Dortmund was doing nothing for ages with youth now you have
Moukoko, Adeyemi, Rothe, Knauff (confirmed next season).....how long until Collins, Bamba, Brunner, Konig etc all breakthrough as well.

Hoffenheim after Geiger it looked mostly empty but then Beier-John on 2BL loans if you ignore that Stiller-Becker come from other clubs pro teams.

now you have Philipp/Noll, Quarshie, Tohumcu, Damar, Asllani, Bischof, Conte etc knocking on door.

Bayern have likes of Wanner, Ibrahimovic, Aseko, Buchmann etc knocking on door. Wanner is closest

list goes on and on. If Leipzig fully integrates Ba that would be turning point there too.

but its not just bigger clubs even smaller ones like Koln, Hertha, Stuttgart, Mainz, Schalke, Freiburg are full of talents. Some like Hertha if they keep being stupid continue to mass OUT, LOL. Stuttgart went foreign buying crazy now signing pro contracts left and right to keep players.

A Bayer will struggle to do nothing with 2007 born too.

Frankfurt II revival and likely RL promotion. Gonna boost youth there too.

02 GK Gebhardt on 3rd Liga loan from Swiss 1st Basel's future is unknown. Hallescher want to keep him but

One thing is clear: The loan contract with Swiss club FC Basel only runs for one year until summer 2023. Another loan is only possible if Basel extends the contract with Gebhardt itself by one year.

Hope for HFC: Representatives of the Swiss first division team stayed at the Leuna-Chemie Stadium for the home game against Mannheim (3:1) and were then pleased with the development of the goalkeeper in Halle.

HFC sports director Ralf Minge (62): "We are in constant contact with Basel. But we are at the end of the chain. First of all, it has to be clarified what the parent club is doing and what the player wants.”

Portugal scored super super early. Missed it so no idea what happened.

but Germany has been playing well and most of possession too. Had like 2-3 chances already to score. Gruda continues to be fun to watch how he dribbles past 2 with such ease.

    GOAL DAMAR PK 1-1

I don't get ref, Germany scores but ref retracts goal as was Portuguese handball in build up to give PK. Why do that if we already had scored, LOL.

The Germany U18 starting xi was -
Goller - Baum, Barthel, Fritschi, Bierschenk - Aseko, Amoako, Bischof (K) - Maza, Pejcinovic, Ibrahimovic.

Out of the players that weren’t prominent at u17 NT level, Maza seems to have impressed the most again.

YES, Germany scores in injury time for 2-2.

comeback TWICE shows good mentality. Also 1st Portugal goal was a PK.

was a good match and good practice. Germany really should have won this tbh.

with this Germany wins their 2nd 4 Nations Tourney this month. 1 for 04s and 1 for 05s.

now need to be able to perform in Elite Round. 3 matches=1 week=grinding out pts.

I do quite like Walde. Maybe not a full international in the future but at youth level he is definitely a serviceable RB imo.

    05 RB Pool looking like
-Walde=Gladbach, sadly after impressing in 1st team preseason has been injured since then
    -Manuba and Scholze=Bayern
    -Baum=Frankfurt
    -Ketterer=Freiburg, looks injured
    -Savid=FD
    -Weiland=Hertha
    -Gevoryan=RB Salzburg

Gevoryan, Savic, Baum, Walde have all trained with 1st teams.

but the pool is small for 05 RBs.
