Canada play too open and are quite naive. Sadly, Hutchinson just can't keep pace at this level and we leave him terribly exposed, making it worse.

It's so frustrating. He did this game 1 too. And Herdman just enables him.

For starters, I don't like how we deploy him. He's not a 10. He's a LB/LWB/LW, and a very very good one. But we just let him do whatever he wants and the rest have to fall in line.

And the way we just leave 39 year old Hutchinson alone is bollocks. It would a tough ask on a technically elite level, 25 year old athletic stud, let alone old man Hutchinson.

Should have shot that at the end there, Sane. Make or miss, you take that chance.

    1. France
    2. Spain
    3. Brazil
    4 Portugal
    5 Uruguay
    6. England
    7. Argentina
    8. Netherlands
    9. Croatia
    10. Germany

    Dropout:
    Belgium
    Japan

Rankings are late due to me traveling but here they are.

Hard to imagine that there is a small but very real chance that Spain might not make it out of the group. Because of that, they gave up top spot to France.

Croatia though a question mark is doing better than I expected so they come in at the expense of Italy :x3:

Japan and Germany are making this quite interesting. I don't believe Germany will lose to Costa Rica and I can't see Japan beaten Spain so Japan drops off the list and Germany barely makes it.

Belgium is disappointing and Croatia can justify their place by dispatching them. Morocco can stake a place at the table by overturning Canada. We'll see just what they are made of come match day three.

Enjoyed Ghana vs SK. Ghana dominated through shear physicality and cutting out SK’s triangles in the first half. Sk came out in the second half with great speed and will. Fun back and forth and a tense finish. Didn’t watch the first game this am but it looks like it was probably a good one too.

Swiss are boring as hell, we say this about Asian and African teams that they should not be in the tournament but some European teams are as bad.

Would not say the Swiss shouldn't be there. Just because they are not sexy does mean they are not a solid team. I am happy with their involvement this far

Isnt the argument against smaller teams that the viewing is worst? I rather watch Morroco KSA play than Swiss.
