Not sure where to post this, so here it shall go: My good friend, lifelong Crew fan, and BigSoccer poster, @Jim Bach passed away unexpectedly yesterday. He will be missed by many.
I've been on a group text with Jim and another dear friend for the past several years. We talked music, cinema, politics, calico, and occasionally Columbus Crew. He sent my wife (a nurse) a care package at the beginning of the Covid pandemic.Honestly there is likely less than 30 days I didn't hear from him via text just checking in or whatever the past two years. He's very, very ********in missed. One of the smartest people and most understanding persons I know. Many of you know this as well.

Look up his highlights. There's a reason he scored over 1200 goals in his career and was picked by FIFA as the player of the century. Then, after his playing career, he was a great ambassador for the game.

Turrble. 2) If we wanna say MLS is potentially top 10 in the world now, then I can roll with that. 1) England 2) Spain 3) Germany 4) Italy 5) France ——————— 6) Portugal 7) Netherlands ——————— At this point, we have Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, and USA. MLS might have some decent top tier talent, but we still lack depth league wide.
