Has anyone seen the blue game shorts for sale? I have seen training shorts but not the shorts that go with the blue jersey.
US numbers out 🥁 DRUMROLL, PLEASE 🥁Your official #USMNT squad numbers at #Qatar2022 ⬇️— U.S. Soccer Men's National Team (@USMNT) November 14, 2022
It looks like US Soccer has updated their site to offer easy ability to purchase the new jerseys for the World Cup players, though it's somewhat hidden in the store. https://store.ussoccer.com/pages/2022-usmnt-world-cup-roster A shame that they are ugly. Also, US Soccer is just offering the standard field jerseys for Turner, Horvath, and Johnson rather than a separate goalkeeper jersey.
where can i get the new completely rainbow covered official match jerseys with the new official and only us crest with a rainbow covered rainbow over a rainbow colored bad eagle holding a rainbow in its talons? i heard about it on fox news...
Does anyone know how one can find out ahead of time what kits teams are wearing for individual matches? FIFA’s website seems pretty useless.
Supposedly the kit match ups are available to the media. Not all of them have been leaked but the USA is wearing all white against Wales and all blue against both England and Iran. I saw the match graphics a few days ago but can’t find them at the moment.
Much obliged. That’s what I suspected, but IIRC FIFA usually has all teams wear their “away” jersey at least once, even if it means an “ugly” matchup. And considering all but Wales has a “home” white jersey and all but USA has a red and a white jersey (and looking at the “home/away” designations and possible combinations), it’s possible for a Group B team to wear the same jersey for all three of their matches. Was hoping to see other matchups ahead of time.
not the official fifa graphics, but... https://www.footyheadlines.com/2022/11/2022-world-cup-kit-matches.html
I don’t think FIFA requires the teams to wear both kits. Germany, for example, is scheduled to wear their home kit in all three group stages matches (once with the classic black shorts and twice with the alternate white shorts for contrast). I think FIFA’s main concern is simply ensuring contrast between the teams, sometimes to a fault when it’s not needed.
I posted this earlier in this thread. It is not true that FIFA makes all team wear their away shirt once. I checked just the last few winning teams. These ones wore the same shirt through the group matches: 1998 France (blue 6 times, white vs. Italy in knockout) 2002 Brazil (yellow 6 times, blue vs. England in knockout) 2006 Italy (blue all 7 games) 2018 France (blue 6 times, white vs. Uruguay in knockout)
Oh yeah. I do remember you posting that. They say that when you get older, three things happen. First, you lose your memory. But I forget what the other two things are.
Wore my Icarus/Footy.con Waldo to the office today. Those offering an opinion all said it looked a lot better than the Nike kits.

Wore my Copa America US kit to work yesterday, knowing I would need to avoid spoilers the whole day since I had to DVR. Went for a walk at lunch when game was already over. Spotted a US fan wearing latest blue kit about 20 yards ahead. Closed jacket and booked it in the other direction! I have had so many games spoiled because I wore my jersey to work.
Same. I had to stop at the store on my way home and took my kit off and went with just my undershirt to avoid any spoilers!
You know, I’m now in the indifferent camp on the tie-dye blue shirt. I think what I really don’t like is that the shorts and socks are more of a royal than a navy blue. Our flag doesn’t have royal blue. What WILL win me over on this shirt is beating Iran in it and going to the knockout round!
so I thought teams could only have 2 kits and not use a 3rd kit at the World Cup? Tonight I was at Canada v Croatia and Canada wore their all black third kit. So they opened v Belgium in their secondary all white kit, played tonight in their 3rd all black, and I read that the next match v Morocco they will wear primary all red kit. I thought this wasn't allowed?
I was just about to come here to post about this. I guess it's now allowed? This was a classic example of how third kits are useful as more than a merch gimmick, as neither red nor white would work vs. Croatia's checkerboard. Maybe Croatia complained about how they were forced to wear an away kit as the home team in some 2018 games? US relevance is that this would indicate they can use the dark blue shorts and socks with the white shirts if needed.
Well, Croatia did wear their checkerboard against Morocco who wore their red shirts…. Apparently their current white and red checkerboard shirt is white enough/doesn’t have too much red in it?? And, having seen that, I’m not sure why Canada couldn’t have worn red, since Morocco did.
Maybe?? If it’s primarily white without too much red? Honestly, Nike and USSF, it’s not that hard. Give the fans what we want. We will throw our money at you. 2026 is only two jersey cycles away…
