The way England totally demolished Iran in yesterday's first game, wonder what Argentina would do to Saudi Arabia. Iran football is one of the powerhouse of Asian but Iran got totally outplayed by England. Many professional players are predicting that if England can do such thing to Iran, Argentina would do much worst to Saudi Arabia. Anyhow, i don't want to say that I believe what others are saying but have an analysis of my own. I know for fact that Saudi Arabia is no match for Argentina, and that Argentina will win the match against Saudi Arabia but, it's only and only on Saudi Arabia on how much demolishing contron that they can do and restrict Argentina to score as much as less possible against Saudi Arabia so that Goal Difference remain in check and don't go too far when it comes to deciding the 2nd place in the group on goal difference. If I were Saudi Arabia then I would definitely park the bus in front of Goal for stopping Argentina as much as possible from scoring max. goals, and would only go for counter-attacking game (the way Saudi Arabia played against Uruguay in 2002 friendly game in Dammam (which Saudi won 3-2)... Don't see Saudi Arabia winning against Argentina but only praying for miracle to keep Argentina at bay from scoring. Tough ask though.
Let's see. I remember when Argentina had problems against Iran in an World Cup match, scoring very late. Maybe Saudi will be close to a draw today. Match is played very early as well. So...
Argentina under Scaloni always go out full throttle from the first minute and they tend to open the scoring fairly early. They are a team of spells. They alternate spells where they play 100% and then slow down and go full throttle 15 minutes or so later again. I can't see Saudi Arabia being able to hold off Argentina in the first half. Argentina will be already up after 25 minutes or so.
Best to have point from this game than to have none. Saudi Arabia should Park The Bus in front of goal, and should play counter attacking football. You can always beat Argentina with Speed and movement, playing position football is no match for Argentina Caliber
Why playing Tumbakti? "Abdu Lillahi El-Amri" is far more better player than Tumbakti so why taking the gamble in not playing him?
Wow, what a game by Saudi Arabia... Fortune favours the Brave and Saudi Arabia had 2 brave moments in going forward and they scored on both of them. The best thing of the Saudi Game was that All Saudi players were not holding back and were fighting for each and every ball. Saudi players had more hunger unlike other Arab teams and their bravery got rewarded. I take my words back about Tumbakti, he was really outstanding today and kept mess under check, he also managed to snatch the ball away from messi when messi was about to aim & shoot. Best game play was from Kano... he anchored the game well for Saudi... Congratulations to All Saudis. Now prepare for game against Poland as this game against Argentina is now History.

Any replacement allowed by FIFA as in Saudi Arabia case both players are probably ruled out for rest of the tournament?
Can replace amongst the 26 player's squad. https://www.fifa.com/fifaplus/en/articles/saudi-arabia-squad-announcement-fifa-world-cup-2022
Which is highly unlikely and next to impossible Guess, Saudi should have had played for a draw in today's game instead of going for win. Now all depends on what the result between Argentina vs Mexico game would be where: If its a draw then Saudi Arabia will have chance to play for a draw in the final match against Mexico If its a win for either of the nation then Saudi Arabia will need to win the match against Mexico Goal difference might also matter as currently, with Poland's 2nd goal, Saudi Arabia has a -1 goal difference Not sure, what the outcome of the match will be but don't see Saudi Arabia beating Mexico. It's an exit from the World Cup it seems
The pressure will be immense indeed. However it's not time to throw in the towel, the doors are still not closed. They need to fight vigorously as opportunities are still there.
Thank you for supporting us today, we want a full Lusail Stadium on Wednesday! We’re not finished yet! 🇸🇦 pic.twitter.com/evDyJXb0LX— Hervé Renard (@Herve_Renard_HR) November 26, 2022
Tough luck Saudi, here's some highlights from inside and outside of the stadium if you're interested. If you do go out next week you will be missed as you definitely are adding something to this tournament...
