Props to our defense today. Only 1 shot on goal allowed. Of course our luck was on our side today. I hope minjae is fine and hee chan would be available vs ghana. We really need his aggressiveness. Overall, this is a great result for us.

A point is fine. KSG really impressed- no errors at all, and decent distribution.

Probably any other striker in the tournament would’ve buried that HUJ chance. Overall fair result, that 1st half was probably the best half we’ve played in the World Cup since 2010

Disappointed with the result. The way we played in the first half, we should have won.

It is my opinion that HUJ has no football IQ. I just don't know what he's deployed as:

    1. Not a hold up play striker
    2. Doesn't have the touch or skills to play in the box
    3. Has just enough finishing skill to get a boot on the ball in the box for a shot

somewhat different feel than the usual KNT scared play in the WC, a lot less panic than usual

good confident play on the ball from players like In Beom

good combativeness in the midfield until they ran out of steam

wondering how much better we would be if we had a defensive mid who has even average distribution

    So surprised as well.

Like someone else posted above, i was getting a heart attack every time JWY got the ball…

Fair result. Wish HUJ buried it… But Uruguay hit the post twice so…

He has been terrible lately. Out of form . But i think he has something. You dont score over 10 goals in Ligue 1 being a total fool. But I liked what I saw from Cho more today

Did anyone noticed how lee jae sung locked valverde? As soon he was off, valverde pops off.

A point is some foundation, some hope... Against Ghana, there will need to be more risk. But that's normal. Really hoping that both injury scares turn out to be unfounded. We must not lose our monster or the most wonderful human being in the world.

I thought LJS was really solid. In general, our midfield dominated.

Props to Bento. He won today's tactical battle.

I'm really worried about them. I hope minjae's injury isn't serious.

We'll take it. Obviously next game against Ghana is a must win since we should be expecting Portugal & Uruguay to get a result against them.

I felt comfortable with Kim Seung Gyu as goalie. He looked reliable and at ease all match. Thank god the Gorilla days are behind us.

SHM and KMJ seemed to be able to play on after their injuries, so I'm optimistic. Still, doctors will be on standby.

It was indeed the best game we've played since PB's first day with KNT.
I hope KMJ's ankle injury is not too serious. He is just irreplaceable as Son and HIB.

It was a good fight and an entertaining match. Uruguay are chokers when it comes to opening match at the WC, so it was awesome to see our players bringing the fight to them.

Na Sang-ho and Jung Woo-young proved me wrong, they both played very well without making big mistakes. I'm bummed Hwang Ui-jo missed our only golden opportunity at goal but he did well also. Cho Gue-sung winning aerial duels, Kim Min-jae coming up huge at the back, Kim Moon-hwan and Kim Jin-su providing cover and attacking on both ends of the field. Also, we technically had 12 players on the pitch, our 12th player being the goal post, twice the save against Goding and Nunez. Seeing Uruguay frustrated just goes to show you how well we came prepared, I mean they had a hard time trying to break through the middle and they tried to flank us on the sides through long balls but to no avail. Lots of misses from them. And, do I even need to bring up Suarez? the dude was basically no where to be seen/all quiet up until the point he got subbed off.

The most important thing is that the 4 years we've spent under Bento wasn't all to waste, and it's the first time we even stuck with a manager for 4 years as well. Sure we had our ups and downs leading into the WC, but our players grew well as a team building a strong team chemistry. Give credit where it's due, Bento and the coaching staff did a good job at preparing our team for the WC. Friendlies are friendlies but it's at the WC where performance and results matter.

Bottom line, Uruguay couldn't break open the Bento Box. Hope everyone enjoyed the match and happy Thanksgiving to all.

Edit: Bento finally utilized Lee Kang-in in the second half rather than the usual scrap minutes he'd get.

Don't be bro. To his credit, he's done everyone a favor by beating the defending champion Germany in spectacular fashion, and it was by far the best group stage exit in WC history. Budget Low > real Low.

He managed the team for less than a year. Dont understand ppl criticizing him + HMB. They barely had enough time to build their teams.
