I didn't even watched that game... i really dislike friendlies, specially when the world cup is one day away.

You are better men/women than me

Croatia had a team of men in 2018 - after 6 World Cup games, they played 7 games worth of minutes prior to the final - i thought that stat was amazing.

Our players just don’t have that level of fitness/durability.

If we played Croatia in a friendly or group stage game, we could probably beat them

sure we even beat France in their own stadium, lol.
when it really matters we'll find a way to lose. No doubt

Have to look on the bright side.
At least we did not qualify and lose to Saudi Arabia.

Argentina looks pretty similar to Rueda’s Colombia

That Messi offside is hard to tell from the angle that the highlights gave but then again I feel that the penalty they got was a bit over simulation by Argentina. Reminds me of Kane's penalty against us in 2018.

Nobody said this yesterday but I will say it today.

If my some miracle we would have qualified instead of Peru and would have somehow eliminated Australia....
....we would have been the team to face France yesterday.... ...with Rueda's tactics.

    Glad we avoided that buzzsaw.

we would have turned shit around by now and won the World Cup....

if we are not dealing in reality that is the universe I prefer to live in. Also Batman vs Superman was the best movie of all time and not a 3 hour depressing cluster fk of a movie. I won the 2 billion power ball as well

Yimmi Chara would have lit up Lloris with 2 goals

And I’m sticking with this story :)

lol, to think some people thought Luis Fernando Suarez would have been a good choice for Colombia. Spain literally passed circles around them for 90 minutes and scored 7 on top of that.

He is the perfect coach for small countries that can punch above their weight sometimes, mostly solid defending but not enough stretegy or long term tatics. They make most of their points at home.

Against a clearly superior opponent on neutral field?.. Demolished time and time again.

Jesus Argentina and Mexico are giving a very underwhelming match.

was thinking the same thing. European teams are still looking way much more dynamic. That being said, that Mexico team looked awful.

Well at least it didn't end 0-0; reason why I always watch as many of the matches as possible at a world cup is for entertaining goals.

Argentina still has some great MFs but man selfishly, I'm happy to finally see a Messi-less WCQualifier for 26'. Both him and DiMaria have made us pay dearly for at least the last 15 years.
