According to Bento, Kim JS is still hurt. He tested Kim Moonhwan today probably as a replacement of Kim JS. So Hong Chul and Kim MH for the left backs and Yoon JG as a right back. Yang HJ is not going to the WC. Jeong Wooyoung is OK to the disappointment of many. Jeong WY Kim MH OK Park JS and Kim JS question marks according to Bento. PS. 3-4-3 was today's formation so there were no true RB and LB. Technically Hong Chul and Kim MH Yoon JG were midfielders today but were LB and RB in defense pretty much.

Very happy for Lee Kang-in and I hope it's not something where he'll get benched for all three games. Also happy for Yoon Jong-gyu and Kwon Chang-hoon, and Kim Jin-su is lucky to be finally going to the WC. Very unlucky for Park Ji-soo though, hence Cho Yu-min taking his place.

I hope that those not in good form were just trying to avoid injury. Korean boards appear to hate Kwon CH. Na Sangho is always unpopular and fans are pissed if he does well. It is pretty funny. Like during the WC 2018 there was a petition(to Blue House, the presidential residence) to execute Jang HyonSoo. This squad is fully stacked with all those reviled by (young) Korean fans. Talent-wise this squad is not all that bad. This generation is even better. In 2002 Seol playing in the Belgian league was the star player. Hong Hyonseok is doing as well as Seol did but he did not even have a chance to make the WC. The talent gap between Korea and Japan is illusory. Korea will always dominate Japan in terms of top 3-4 players. Japan has the better 5th - 23rd on paper but I don't buy it. Bento is the problem. Hwang Sunhong is an idiot. You cannot win a match just with collective talents alone at this level. And AFC referees try very hard to meddle in the game.
talent is arguable whats most concerning to me is the lack of chemistry.....so disjointed and broken in movements i honestlly dont underdtand how Bento managed to last this long when so many other managers were cut much earlier and for seemingly much less wheres the improvement since his tenure begun? in all honesty i havent been following as hard as before but what gives?
Oh Hyunkyu just in case Son does not make it. But some think that in case Kim JinSoo does not make it, Bento will gamble with another offense instead of defense. But that is a stretch.
KFA president Monkey Chung has a mob boss mentality. He thinks he is a big man who trusts his men to the end. Just looking at his pint sized shrimp body and monkey face makes me mad. He probably has an ambition in politics, he does not care about Korean football. He is very shrewd. He knows as long as he keeps quiet he won't lose the job. If Korea suffer 3 defeats in this WC he will just say he did his best and latch onto his job until the next election. If Bento does well he will take all the credit for standing by his man. I loath him.
