Deserves? I'm not sure. The other strikers are also scoring and you can't take everyone. It is likely he will be part of the next cycle.
Wright has apparently had a goal chalked off for being offside. He's also missed a fairly simple chance. Haji Wright'ın kaçırdığı inanılmaz pozisyon. ⚽ pic.twitter.com/crTeoaGocv— Sportaktik (@sportaktikk) October 21, 2022

Haji Wright has gotten the start today for Antalyaspor and pulled a goal back for them with a flying header to make it 1-2. Currently 2-2 in the first half. Haji Wright goal! https://t.co/QTaE6ppuyJ— Takes 🇺🇸 (@USMNTTAKES) November 6, 2022
2nd top scorer for a crappy team in a mid-tier league, ain't too shabby! Hope he helps make Gregg's decision difficult.
Back to back 10+ goals season already...he's pretty much most consistent throughout the entire Calender year
Antalyaspor were the form side in the second half of last season but pretty garbage this time round and he keeps on scoring. Something that scouts will have noticed. He won't be on a plane this month, which is probably the right decision IMO, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if he's on a plane in January and astonished if he isn't in July
It took me a second to understand that you were talking transfer windows and not NT camps... I was like "wait, does Turkey take a winter break now?" I wonder where he would go if he leaves Turkey. Feels like Belgium / Netherlands / Portugal would be a natural next stop?
One of those, or maybe one of France's lesser sides. One with a decent defence but problems scoring and (owners with) some money to spend. Nantes is one team that springs to mind.
He's probablky the best paid guy on his current team...he would probably have to go to France to maintain his current wages or get paid more. I think he would do well on a mid table side. Hmm not sure I agree about him not being on the plane. Pefok has cooled off massively and Wright, Sargent, Pepi and Jesus are all playing at around the same level. We know Pefok isn't going as Egg finally has the ammo he was looking for to not call him up. I would take 4 forwards. We can't play Jesus in all three group stage games.
Shhh, don't give him any ideas! But also, depending how he performs in the camp before the first game, I don't think Pepi starting vs Wales is entirely out of the picture TBH...
Not only is it not entirely out of the picture, but it's what I expect to occur. Pepi got the nod the last time it counted and in tougher games. I think people are overreacting to what a friendly camp w/out Pepi when he needed to clear his head and was out of form meant. And now he's back in form.

I think its marginal between him and Ferreira in Gregg's mind. edit: and I hope that his time in The Netherlands has helped him regain his form. He was looking good before his move to Augsburg
Wright in on the bench today as Antalyaspor play second division Pendikspor in the Turkish Cup. 1-0 in the early going.
