I live in a German region called "Franken" (Franconia). And the country France also bases on this source; France in German is called "Frankreich" which means "Empire of the Franconians". In addition to that there are two German cities called Frankfurt (and many more in the US, called "Frankfort"), which means "Ford of the Franconians", and which neither lie in the German region Franconia nor in France. It's only a name.
decades ago (80's 90's) there was an NFL Quarterback named Frank Reich. ironically he had 2 older siblings, so i guess that would make him the third reich

Embarrassingly my comments weren't exactly right because in English there are different words for ancient people (Franks) and todays residents (Franconians), but they have the same origin. Your argument is ridiculous. The whole planet has always known that the one and only Macedonia, of Philip, of Alexander the Great, is Greek. Skopje steals the name even after the Treaty of Prespa and identifies itself as Macedonian, something which is false and untrue.
the worst thing isn't the name itself. if the Vardarians would name themselves Macedonia in order to pay tribute to the the real Macedonia (which is a big part of Northern Hellas as we know) it might have been ok. the problem is that they really pretend they're Macedonia,that they say that they're the ancestors of Alexander the great, they've imitated Virgina's sun in their flags, they teach their childern that they're borders are in Larisa(!!!) and show such things in their maps in their schools for those who don't know, Larisa is a city here in Hellas , almost 200 kms south of the Hellas/Vardaska borders!!!!!!! They extended their borders 200 kms to a land they never even owned,in their schools. can you imagine us doing the same against Turkey and puting maps with our borders til Ankara or so?? there would a world war 3. and the funny thing is that we really owned Turkey's land for centuries , before they came from the far East and conquer it. but we still respect the current borders ,even if we don't like it. it is what it is. we lost those lands a long time ago,nobody needs more wars, all we need is to be respectful to each other,which the Vardarians clearly are not doing . always provoking ,always wearing and carrying clothes,flags and stuff from the real Macedonia when their teams play against our teams (or even against other teams) , they never mention themselves at least as FYROM or North M. which were/are the official names (still wrong though). It's Vardaska. simple as that. and will always be Vardaska. when we had the Parthenon they were living in caves. just some historically illiterate,a bunch of uncivilized freaks ,with some small exceptions. end of story

The one who started to provoke, propagandistically mentioning the name of his country differently from what is agreed by international conventions, must immediately retract his lie. He deliberately named his country in this way here on the forum, while he knows its exact name, based on the Prespa agreement, with the objective of provoking. Since this right is recognized to him, I too have a right to answer and call his country Vardaska. How would you feel if you had signed a naming agreement with a country and it didn't honor it?

The post you're objecting to references matches that took place prior to the 2018 Prespa Agreement (which finalized the name Republic of North Macedonia). Prior to that time, the team in question played under the name Macedonia. Therefore, it is reasonable for that poster to request matches played during that timeframe by using that name, rather than the current one. Please drop this issue. Now.
