The Org sells the non-season ticket member tickets. The FO handles STMs (which is a headache for my role, to be frank). As I'm sure you remember, it used to be that a person could acquire their Nordecke tickets from any of the 3 big SGs or from the FO. And then that changed to just the 3 Big SGs. So, now we're in the next phase of that progression since there is only one officially recognized SG. As to "the point"... that could be a big long conversation that I don't even know how or where to start.
SHOCKING NEWS: but right on cue for the current thread discussion, the Crew has started selling "non-resale" tickets in the Nordecke for tomorrow's match. https://www.ticketmaster.com/columb...lumbus-ohio-08-06-2022/event/05005B97B14F5AA0 I feel like that's the first time I've seen that in quite a while. Quite oddly (or perhaps as you'd expect, based on past ticket sales experience), the Nordecke tickets from the Crew are more expensive than the resale Nordecke tickets.
Maybe I should know this but I don’t: Nordecke “receives” a certain number of tickets from the FO which are single game tix, correct? How many tix? I’m assuming it’s the same number for each game, since there are no single game tix sold directly by the FO and the season ticket allotment is sold out.
The Nordecke has purchased all of the single game tickets, yes. I honestly do not know the number. I, for many reasons, try to stay as far away from the ticket acquisition/sales/distribution process as possible.
We were on the front foot and at home. Coach surrendered that. Plus, the last 5 minutes is one thing, but the last 20 is way too early. Plus, letting them have tons of crosses aimed at Kamara, with Josh out and our struggles on set pieces well documented, does not strike me as terribly bright either. I'd think people who watch a lot of soccer would get this?
Now bringing 5 people to this game. Last time I took a group we won 4-0. This time I'm expecting a delay.
Does “The March to the Match” happen for all home matches or just for certain designated ones? I’ve only done it twice since LDC opened, and a buddy of mine who’s taking a first timer wants to know.
Hi good afternoon! The Nordecke leads a March to the Match approximately one hour before kickoff of each Columbus Crew home match, starting at the Block Party on Battelle Plaza. Look forward to seeing you tomorrow and going forward!#Crew96 | #VamosColumbus— The Nordecke ⭐⭐⭐ (@Nordecke) August 5, 2022
Williams and Morris out. Degenek and Artur in. Is Artur match fit to start? Did Morris pick up a knock?
I guess it's not Porter's fault that the visiting locker room is climate controlled and the home is not, except to the extent that he really should have mentioned this obvious oversight to the Haslems much earlier.
As Porter would tell you, it was just bad luck that we were facing a Canadian team on a hot and humid night. Montreal is just more used to those conditions than Columbus and used it to their advantage...
Settling in for this game. This game feels very .. must-win? Crucial? Not sure. Win, Crew. As an infamous, banned poster would chant, “attack, attack, attack!”
