had a strange experience with a guy called "Fabrisio Cardoso". He claims to have 100.000 matches on tape (numbers don't impress me, as I do not collect club matches so of course, I have less, ok, so what). So he wrote me by email, not here, which was the first unusual way that he contacted me and now I see here, he has a legacy with some posts between 2008 and 2012. So why he wrote me per mail, not here. anyways. He wanted to swap matches and asked me for my list, which I sent him and I checked his. I found around 20 items that were of interest for me in his list. I also encountered him having a lot of matches not, that I have or in better quality, making me optimistic to have a good trade. As I have a list with matches marked as "not for trade" he got grumpy, saying he does not browse traders lists to then encounter, that matches he like are not for trade. So I sent him a list with the matches not for trade filtered out and he still complained, that he never ever saw people having matches marked as not for trade. I mean he didn't even ask me for a particular match. Alone the fact, that I am not willing to offer all my stuff to a random guy, that I do not know and have never traded with - offended him. Of course, I know that many people have matches marked as not-for-trade. One good example is that, if you order and pay 1 € per minute at TV archives (I have around 50 matches like that), that you don't want to trade 1-on-1 with ordinary recordings. I think this is reasonable. In the end, we came to a conclusion, that we better do not trade now until either one changes his position. Now I am a bit sour, as it took also me free time to browse his list for nothing. Anyone know this guy? What is your opinion on him?

@Gibraldo Maybe those users who messaged you have special privileges on the forum that allow them to override that setting? I'm guessing mods. I'm not familiar with Fabrisio Cardoso, but I have never heard of anyone with over 100k recordings. You said he posted on the forum. Does he still have an active username? I'd like to reach out to him.
About Gibraldo's post. I don't have time to post here anymore. Sorry guys. I stopped doing that in 2012. After that so many trades I can't even handle anymore, so it all goes by email or whatsapp. A friend passed on his email and I contacted him, nothing strange there. I have no problems with Gibraldo. I didn't find any matches in his list that I don't have. Some of my matches are still not in my list because I didn't have time to update it and they are still in the pc. Better quality is something that I don't trust anymore because I have already chosen matches that were listed as 5, only to discover they were worse than the quality 3 version that I had. So the only matches I didn't have were the ones listed as NOT FOR TRADE. Well, people I trade with always send me the NOT FOR TRADE matches because I also send them too as I don't hide or keep any matches listed as special in my list. He has all the right to do whatever he wants but in the end what happens is that we don't have anything to trade unfortunately. That's all. No problems with him. Sorry something personal has unkindly come to public.

Well, there are also people who are only pretenders here around. Many posts in this thread proove that. So i think it is not farfetched to be firstly sceptic if someone, who you never heard of, contacts you. Also you did not even mention the referer. And to ask a community of traders like this one then is nothing obscene, in my eyes. You summarized here differently than what you wrote me. You wrote me by mail, you don't like to check my list at all, if not everything is for trade. But here you tell the folks now, you did check and didn't find interesting stuff for you. That is a huge difference, of course. Well accepted. You keep your stuff, I keep mine.

I have a negative case with zuka santini, I sent him games back on July 21 and still have not received games from him. I know and claim that he downloaded the games that I sent. After that, he stopped responding to all my requests
Stefan0 is a liar, don't trade games with him. I gave him 6 match in early July, but he never send me any match.when I asked him for match, he always shied away because he was at work, and when I asked him for match later, he didn't reply.
