After a poor 1st half we have come alive in the 2nd…. Even Paulinho scored lol

Lost in PKs but a completely different performance in the 2nd half. Paulinho with a nice goal.

One more friendly vs Wolves next weekend and then the league starts

 

Amorim shut down the Ronaldo to Sporting rumours, saying that he's happy that players like Matheus Nunes rejected offers that could change their life in order to stay one more season with us.

 

I just can not see any way Ronaldo comes back to SCP unless he is a free agent …. How the hell in Man U going to burn the money they paid for him last year to just let him go for free

 

Wouldn’t even matter if he’s a free agent. People like to think that players like this will return to their original clubs and virtually play for free but it’s just not realistic.

His wage demands even at a 50% paycut would still be far beyond our wildest dreams

 

Latest news/rumours:

Renan signing for Al-Ahli and finally leaving us with a year left on his contract, one of the highest paid at the club.

Battaglia is another whose contract termination appears to be close.

Everton is apparently wanting to sign Vinagre on loan with an option to buy.

Finally, Brest and Nottingham Forest appear interested in Slimani.

Continuing to clean the house

Vinagre loaned to Everton confirmed, option to buy for 20M euros (lets all pray they activate it)

Palmeiras submitted an official bid of 3M euros + 2M in objectives for Tabata. We're apparently asking for 5M and considering accepting the bid.

Sporar is apparently close to joining Panathinaikos for 3.5M euros. It's a loss compared to the 6M we paid, but at least it's another player off the salary roll.
