yeah at this point there are only pairs that are not needed - sometimes to a match I will be attending, and sometimes to a match I can't attend due to transit restrictions. This policy FIFA has hatched up might seem good from 10,000 feet, but it is really annoying, as I am not even guaranteed the tickets will sell whereas I could otherwise offload them months in advance. But I can't do that if they are embedded with other ticket orders, as I can't give up my account access to a stranger. Will I be pissed if after consenting to a 10% hit, the tickets don't even sell. Does FIFA allow you to list the tickets under face value on their portal??
You can only sell the main applicant ticket if you sell all of the tickets on the entire account at once (or sell to someone you really trust who will not steal the rest of your tickets) . So touts are likely eating 1/6 tickets for each match.
So stadiums will have some empty seats for every game, even if high demand... I guess an unintended consequence of FIFA trying to move the market to their resale site
If you sell on stubhub /viagogo, you aren't meeting up with buyers. You will be asked to transfer the tickets to the buyers email once that option is available, simple as that. Of course as mention by others, only non main applicants tickets will be able to transfer.
Passionate on the border of aggressive/disrespectful is a fair generalization at least when soccer is involved
Here's what I would do... 1) sell the account with the remaining tickets that you wont use. You have to sell the FIFA account with full access to the linked email. If the linked email is your personal email; contact FIFA and get the email changed. 2) hand the account off to someone that you trust thats staying longer. They can walk the buyer and scan him into the gate with a burner phone.
Just saw this article from a few days ago indicating that they are still planning on operating the shuttle flights from DIA. They are also working on projects to allow for quick passenger screening, it seems. Hopefully they will have a streamlined operation for the shuttle flights: https://www.flightglobal.com/farnbo...to-free-capacity-for-world-cup/149510.article
Have there been any new hotels? I cant tell by just looking at the site. Most of the ones up right now are $$$
There were about 7 new hotel/apartment drops under $600/night yesterday, and another 5 today. The cheapest on both days were around $200/night. I check right when I'm up at 6:00am PST and they're usually unavailable by 12:00pm PST, so you just have to check as early as possible.
If I'm any of you guys that are thinking of buying tickets from others, PLEASE make sure you ask here, Reddit, the Facebook group with WC tix, etc. (I don't know the page, but I know it exists). These 3rd party ticket sites charge out of the ass when it comes to fees. You'll be paying basically for another ticket or two just on the fees alone. And, I'm sure a thread will open for ticket sales for FACE VALUE as we approach November. And as always watch out for drops and LMS
Yes but then you have no proof that you gave them the tickets. That is why viagogo 6 will have you transfer to the email on record
Anyone local or familiar with Al Daayen área know if there’s good public transport (or soon to be available public transport) to Lusail Station? Have seen accommodation drops in the area, but hesitating to book as they look far from the station. Btw, this forum rocks. Very much appreciate the insight from those posting and the entertainment in between. Keep the convos going.
Not entirely sure, but had just been reading some of this: http://www.theworldcupguide.com/potential-qatar-2022-stadium-bus-service-options/ http://www.theworldcupguide.com/qatar-rail-system-plans/ Some good info and solid links in that article and all around on the website.
Does anyone know how is going to be the WiFi (complimentary) that they offer in the labour camps? and how much it might cost $$$??
Definitly thousands of tickets will be thrown in the garbage because of touting. If they think they can go and find clients near the stadium to sell the main applicant tickets, i doubt it. It is strict there and to make it worst, a law in Qatar just came out few days ago to even scare more the professional touts of selling inside Qatar. If we see hundreds of seats empty in some stadiums, we kmow why
I read about that. 250,000 QR ($69,000) fine if caught reselling/exchanging/reassigning tickets without FIFA approval
