It's been awhile and I know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ has been so appropriate on so many levels. However, wondering if it's time for a change? I have been leaning towards the good ole', "Race to Seis...place", as I think it will be fitting for the foreseeable future.
I agree about the need for a tagline change. The current one was perfect to express the wtf, laugh-to-avoid-crying state of mind we had early in the Klein era. But after 6 years of repeated mistakes and on field suckitude many of us are drained and have moved into an angrier mood that has our fandom hanging by a thread. Personally I’m in an “if AEG don’t care about the Galaxy, wtf should I?” state of mind. AEG and Klein’s incompetence and indifference have killed the once-mighty Galaxy spirit. Until they are held accountable (aka fired) we aren’t actually The Galaxy anymore. Now if some of you creative types can capture my “off with their heads” mood in a tagline then I’m all in. Because I need some major catharsis right about now.
If people want to throw out suggestions in this thread I can then create a poll for everyone to vote....
Doesn’t the shrug emoji date back to the early Beckham years of rotating coaches and general buffoonery? There’s a certain appropriateness in keeping it as it matches AEG’s interest in the Galaxy. Relevant at times, but mostly ignored.
I don't know. The shrug carries a combo of frustration and resigned humor re the Galaxy organization screw ups. I think most of us are way beyond seeing any humor in Klein destroying the Galaxy, at least the version that we grew to love. I'm thinking more along the spirit of RIP - LA Galaxy, 1996 - 2015 or Klein - Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out or Klein 1 - Galaxy 0. Or Oust Klein - Save the Galaxy. Or how about Beckerman & Klein - The reason we can't have nice things. Or AEG - Not Caring Since 2015 or AEG - MLM Profits >> Galaxy Soccer or AEG - Profits Over Product Klein & Beckerman -> Corporate Raiders for Hire Ok, clearly I'm no wordsmith before my coffee. But y’all get my sentiment.
I suppose I'll finally create a poll like I promised. I still think #KleinOut is the top choice. Clean and simple and the truth.

It dates back to a Concacaf Champions League game loss in the Bruce years. The team put in a poor performance and got eliminated. The supporters groups were angry with the team to begin with and then our crack media/marketing group who was famous for typos and otherwise ridiculous immaturity put out a social media post with exactly that emoji further suggesting the team itself didn’t care which sent fans into a tizzy. I remember it because I got pretty upset with it too.
