Fast or quick as blanket statements lack context. Are we talking fast/quick To press To read situations With ball Without ball Dive into the tackle With skills etc etc I assume when I read it, it’s a foot speed comment, but the faster you diagnose situations the less foot speed you need. Quick/fast has so many interpretations. Sauerbrunn was never fast, but her IQ diagnosed danger fast enough for her feet to get there ahead of time. At 37 maybe they can’t.
I agree with you. I was referring to fast over a distance (tracking back primarily) in this particular situation with Sanchez.
That’s not been my experience. As long as I log in, I can access any ESPN3 games on my devices. I think what’s different is whether your cable provider will show you the games as options on your TV. If a game is on, my TV/provider will pull it up, but they won’t record it to watch on the set. You can still watch any of the live and recorded on an iPad or phone or laptop.
I don't have cable and have a stand-alone ESPN+ subscription. Yes, if you have an ESPN cable sub, you can see ESPN3 matches. I was able to access ESPN3 for several years because of my ISP, but they switched over to only cable providers without any notice.
As much as I enjoy the USWNT matches the fact is that I find the CONCACRAP tournaments less that interesting. Either a pretty good team (There are two in CONCACAF) plays a really bad one and the question becomes will the "better" team screw up enough to let the "lesser" team have a chance, Or two bad teams play and it is only a question of who screws up the leas or the lastt. Or two pretty good teams play and it comes down to who can actually play soccer for 90 minutes. (or even 15) Since the vast majority of CONCACAF is very bad, maybe improving but bad, most matches have all the interest and excitement of frogs mating. (Except for some herpetologists who would find that of interest or exciting.) To cut through the muck we also have the European Women's Championship (Euros) playing at this time with most reaming matches much better than any we will have short of the finals (US vs Canada) in CONCACAF. The match today Norway vs Northern Ireland @15:00 EDT is one of the poorer ones on paper but I believe it will be a LOT better than say Mexico vs Haiti. The US matches have interest because it is the US but any real suspense is lost because, at least until the final, the only doubt is the actual score and will the US slow the game down enough to keep the opponent interested. No team in CONCACAF (except Canada) is even remotely able to play even with the US if the US really tries at all. So I will get my real soccer fix from the Women's Euros and my patriotic fix from the US matches. I will watch Mexico vs Haiti as well because I want to see just how far Mexico has fallen since Maribel Domínguez retired. But there is plenty of soccer available to fill the spaces between CONCACAF matches.
But your standard of intentional malice for a red card does not match the laws of the game or what referees are taught to do.
I hear you. Personally, I'm interested in looking at the development of some of our younger unproven talent.
Your inference is hardly implicit in my post. Before you get your next beer, you first must get your first beer, otherwise yclept "a beer." (Presently the restroom is likely to reenter the sequence also...)
The youth movement tonite: GK -- Naeher Def -- Cook, Girma, Fox, Huerta MF -- Sanchez, Lavelle, Horan F Hatch, Pugh, Smith Why Horan again? Doesn't Vlatko have a replacement for her? Lavelle and Sanchez in the MF at the same time is interesting. Defense is going to have to better than it was with Haiti. Speed kills -- and Jamaica has it.
While that was mostly true the way they played would probably score 8-10 against anyone in CONCACAF except Canada or the US. But, until they play on the same stage or against meaningful and/or common opposition we cannot know for sure.
Mine seems fine but I do not watch the talking heads so I would not see a problem with sync. I thought it was going to 3-0 but Hatch was offside just a bit so it remains just 2-0.
YES, that was what did it. Not the 9000 lies and scandals, but lackluster play on the football field.
