Yeah. You go to Champsleague, then live schedule, then it is 3rd option, after the two actual games. I think that is how I remember it. On Roku.
Aha, so it's not likely you can customize 2 random games of your own design? P+ already predefined the combo of 2 games and you just click those two at once, just as if it were one game stream?
Yes. And I only saw the option in the knockout stages; when there are only 2 games a night. The group stage equivalent is the golazo show, but you have 8 games, I think; and they switch you from game to game depending on what's happening. The Golazo show have their own hosts - they do a good job. Someone told me this morning (Saturday) that they watched a golazo show that involved the Europa Conference and the Europa League games on Thursday night. I wish I'd watched; I gather those competitions have been exciting this season. Clubs that don't often get far in Europe are having a good time.
I see. I'm less jazzed about this new feature. Especially since it's at the whim of the provider to combine 2 matches THEY think you want to watch simultaneously. Some day, hopefully not long into the future, the user will be able to completely control that, i.e. pick whatever 2 game streams you wanna watch side-by-side.
looks like CBS/Paramount dropped the ball on the Europa Conference semi-finals first legs this past Thursday - neither of them are available to stream on demand did they air live on Paramount +?
They did air live, and they are available on demand. They are incorrectly dated April 14, but they are both there.
So CBS is seriously NOT airing the 2nd leg of the UCL semis on TV?? After they've been doing so quite a bit up until now? And that's to try to force people to buy P+ subscriptions? It's not gonna hurt me too much because I already have P+, but TV is so much better/easier/reliable I was hoping.
You may be right. My DVR's guide shows stuff like Dr. Phil & Judge Judy. BUT I checked a web listing and it looks like CBS is showing the RM-MC Leg2 tomorrow, but not the VIL-LIV Leg 2 today. It's a little weird that they would choose to air only 1 tie and not the other, given the similarities, so I wonder if the listings are wrong and they're actually going to have the first tie on CBS today as well? (I set a manual recording just in case)
Yeah. And without giving too much away, it seems that they might be second-guessing themselves for not showing VIL-LIV on real TV.
Just great, Bonetti and Cordero on the Conference League final. Hopefully they don't call the Champions League final.
UAE vs. Australia WC qualifier on Paramount+ today, 2 pm EDT. https://www.paramountplus.com/shows/afc-asian-qualifiers/
I'm watching Rosario Central v Gimnasia LP and the English broadcast has little to no stadium noise. What makes Argentine Football unique is the atmosphere and all you hear is the commentators. I guess I'll go back to TyC in Spanish.
I notice this as well. Isn’t Vix airing the Spanish now? As an aside I happened to turn on a Brasileiro match on Vix and noticed it was in Portuguese! Paramount has the same audio problems with the Brasiliero as well I’ve noticed
Noticed tonight that they have next week's UEFA Champions League & Conference league matches listed. The first qualifying round begins on Tuesday! I don't remember ever having the first qualifying round matches of the CL available. It doesn't look like they have them all listed, but there seems to be at least 3-4 for each matchday. They also have some Scottish League Cup matches listed for July--which starts on the 10th!
Good catch. Indeed, four matches on Tuesday and two on Wed. In term of watching semi-pro football, I am not there yet. But will probably tune in for the second round of qualifying.
Paramount+ has a code now "glory" for one month free. I have no idea if it's ads or ad-free, but who'll complain about free stuff?
https://awfulannouncing.com/soccer/...s-linked-and-2-billion-price-tag-floated.html The US TV rights for UEFA CL are up for sale once again. ESPN could be out. I don't see NBC as an option. Fox? CBS? Anything but TNT/TBS. I'm assuming that TV and streaming rights have to be the same company. If not, I wouldn't mind seeing games on FS1, FS2, Fox and ESPN+.
