Gonzalo Plata and Jordy Caicedo linked to Full Ham. Would be good for a team to have 2 Ecuadorians. They can help each other adapt and would build so much chemistry for the nt from playing at club level together. These 2 and Sarmiento + Moises will be so good for our NT.

Leonardo Campana vs FC Barcelona. I always loved when Liga MX team faced big Euro teams. I would love to see him face a top European side.

It's an interesting move to consider - no doubt about it.

Fulham will have funds through the prize money for promotion, and they can probably afford both transfers...in total, it seems like 15-17M gbp would be enough to get both transfers/signatures cleared.

Plata's contract value stands at 10M Euros and Caicedo was about 5.5M the last time I checked. In the offseason, I wouldn't be surprised seeing Caicedo's team hardballing for a higher transfer sum, but his stats dropped during the last few games of the Bulgarian league, and thus, I'm not sure justifying a higher price tag is feasible.

You guys think Plata is right for the EPL?

I think his style fits la Liga more.

He's thin and fragile, but he needs to toughen up.

He has yet to be tested in La Liga's top flight which also can get pretty physical, but his style of play can work well for PL although he'll probably get hacked a lot.

La Liga is more technical and it fits more to his style of play. He has flair and it would just go to waste at the EPL.

There has been times I wished he had that desequilibrante guy who would dribble and break defenses and now we do. Valencia was all muscle and speed and that was it. His end product was ok and his back passes would drive me insane. Caicedo was all muscle and slow as a rock. Campana is another example of going the same route.

EPL is more of a kick and run style unless you’re playing for The klopps and peps.

There is also the fact that he is very fragile. Remember when he wouldn’t start for us, or finish a game, or just play about 20 minutes? There’s no need to go to a league that as you mentioned will hack you….to death. There’s no shame playing against Barça, Madrid, Atléticos, Sevilla.

An EPL team would put him on a training regimen and he'd gain muscle mass and get stronger. Leonardo Campana and Moises Caicedo improved their physiques once they joined EPL sides. He's better off playing in La Liga for a season or two. He's still very young and has a lot to learn and improve upon.

Antony Valencia to Royal Antwerp. The Belgian league is competitive, physical, and fast paced. I don't expect him to be a star player right away but he has some interesting qualities.

Stalin Valencia to Mexico. No official statement yet but it appears he'll join Pumas Tabasco.

Going to Chile via the Grupo Pachuca deal is a tough one to handle - in the current context of what's going on in Chile with their federation and the TAS appeal, I'd assume he's going to take some heat like with Galindez at U de Chile. I hope I'm wrong.

I'm not a fan of the Corozo transfer. He's not going to a better league. I imagine he'll be better paid. My guess is he will face some abuse from the fans and press. Emelec would have been a good fit for him.

Jordy Caicedo to Tigres. Not a good move imo. Tigres has Gignac in their squad and Piojo Herrera plays with un punta. He should have stayed in Europe. Disappointing move.

I don't think anything has been leaked yet, but I'm excited to see what they'll cook up. Ideally, I'll get my jersey by August.

An exciting update! Hopefully he can adapt and make an impact on the pitch in the starting XI.

It wouldn't surprise me to see him get loaned out once or twice, but it will be to his benefit for experience....even reserve squad rotations will serve him well.
