I said Atletico because they play 3-5-2 and don't have a real right wing back if Vrsaljko leaves as rumored.

Juve plays 4-4-3 and it's not sure that he could start over Danilo (even if I think Danilo is quite average).

I haven't read about any links to Inter but it would be a good option as well if it's true.

Seeing Paulo’s reaction yesterday, I do have to wonder if he’s going to jump ship to Inter. I’m sure he wants to stick it to the Juve higher-ups but the fans really adore him. He clearly loves them back with emotions like this.

Things could turn sour if he does make the move. But Beppe Marotta is the player who brought Paulo over from Palermo. I also sense if Marotta was still at Juve, a deal would’ve been hashed out.
The fans also booed the Juve higher-ups when they were shown at the game.

I hope he does not end up in England. Arsenal were being linked but now that they may not make the CL, that looks somewhat questionable. Tottenham would be another bad move. All in all, the EPL would be a really bad move for him.

    We will see soon.

I would be happy if we can get to play the Basque Country national football team. Much better opposition than Israel imo. More details of the NT below

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basque_Country_national_football_team#Current_squad

Also, wouldn't be a bad idea to have a friendly match vs Catalonia NT

Di Maria is expected to move to Juventus. I think its a good move, now hopefully Paredes goes there aswell.

Wouldn’t a lot of those bigger names who are from the Basque Country play for Spain during the Nations League? The same could be asked about the Catalonias. Israel at least has players in Europe, who will probably be up to it.

I think only 3 Basque players have been selected in the Spain NT during the past year. Even the non-selected players in both Basque and Catalonia are still a higher level opposition to test us properly compared to the Israel NT imo, especially when comparing them to the club and the league in which they play at.

Word now is that Dybala could very well snub Inter and join Roma instead

If both Lautaro & Tucu are staying than Dybala to Roma would be a good move, since he'd most likely get regular playing time. That means he has ambition to be at WC.

According to Simpreinter site, Lautaro said he'd only leave if the club tells him to. That means his own plan is to stay at Inter.

So, I’ve read that Ascacibar has had a good season in Germany. The stats say he’s had the most recoveries in the entire league. Perhaps he’s playing to the potential we all expected of him. Who knows, I don’t really watch the Bundesliga.

Yet, Hertha Berlin on the verge of being relegated. If I’m not mistaken, this would be the second time, that his team has gone down. If they do, I suspect he’ll move.

But for whatever reason, he seems to enjoy Germany. You would thought he would’ve left to Spain or Italy. Let’s see what his next move if Hertha does go down.

Not bad. It’s a shame Paredes didn’t recover in time but it was expected. I’d rather have Alario there than J Correa in case we need a late sub as a goal-scoring threat, but otherwise it looks good. Still don’t understand the need for 4 goalies though.

Immobile will apparently miss the Finalissima. Italy’s fans don’t seem to mind…

Gaston Edul, very reliable imo, posted this vid and some takeaways:

-There is a chance that the 4 GKs could be taken to the WC.
-MacAllister has a very good chance to make it to the WC squad.
-Lisandro will be out vs Italy

    My lineup would be

Dibu---Molina, Romero, Otamendi, Acuna---Di Maria, De Paul, Guido, Lo Celso---Messi, Lautaro

Interesting seeing Chino out and Pezzella still in. If this was flipped, then I think we would be better off. But perhaps Scaloni likes Pezzella’s experience. But it is telling that Senesi might have a legit shot at going.

But I do hope we have another game. We are, what? Less than 10 days from this game and we don’t have a second opponent. You would think they would announce a game, where tickets will be sold and whatnot. June was meant to provide with 3-4 games, no?

But I can’t believe it’s already been 4 years since the last World Cup. We would normally be preparing for it now. Time sure does does fly…

Yeah, do feel that Senesi is ahead of Quarta in the pecking order. Not sure if that is enough depending on the squad size for the WC.

And I do agree that it is concerning that we only confirmed 1 match out of the available 4 match spots in June with not enough time for other. Even if the Israel game is confirmed, Israel will not properly test the team.

No Israel game apparently. Man, only 1 game would be pretty disappointing. Not too many more opportunities to see Leo & Ángel in the white & sky blue.

Feels like playing against the Basque NT or the Catalonia NT would be the best option since the Argentina NT will be based in Spain. The Catalonia NT have already announced their squad vs Jamaica for May 25

Never really been too convinced by MacAllister. He was trash at the Olympics, and when I’ve seen him play for the senior NT and Boca he was poor to average at best. Would much rather take Enzo Fernandez to Qatar, personally

I've seen some Brighton games and he was decent from what I've seen and looking at Brighton's forum, they really rate him. But for me, judging from his time in the Olympics and the NT side, I too agree with you that I don't think he's NT material. We'll see how he does in the June period.

Enzo Fernandez? More like Enzo Penaldez… AmiRite, loco?!
Well, actually, having a good penal taker would not hurt.
