Nantes almost scores, shot bounces post to post. I guess you can make the case for the red, after watching replay
This is sad. It was a good game for Tim, he was active and had ideas. But the stats will only show the red.
I kept watching the replays... and it kept making a case for no foul. red card? for what? the opponent being so late to the play that he steps into Weah's naturally moving trailing leg? if there's an alternate view they didn't show on tv... I'll stand corrected. but based on what I saw... honestly- no hyperbole here- one of the worst calls I can remember seeing.
this is the view I never saw. from what I saw, his right went unobstructed and early to the ball, and his trailing left kept moving forward as the Nantes player stepped into it.
Décalé is good with replays but I won't be able to watch this in a proper screen until the evening. From what i saw in my phone it looked like a harsh red.
Weah started today, still in at 75', 1-1, playing up top with David, who subbed in for Gomes at 57', right after Gomes assisted on Sanches' goal. Not watching, would welcome comments from anyone who is ...
He scored his first goal of the season in the last minute of injury. "Timothy Weah applies salt to the wound." pic.twitter.com/YGmNZ94e2C— Timothy Burke (@bubbaprog) May 14, 2022 PS: Save video quick before it gets deleted.
Heads up play on defense to steal the ball, and then a very calm and collected one on one with the keeper to seal the victory
Timo scored again. In the 11th minute of his game. I’m not watching. I’m watching 10 man Leipzig trying to come back on Freiburg. The goal was described as a close range header.
Just played in on the right flank on the overlap and went endline and put in a great aerial cross that was on Yilmaz' noggin that he put just wide around 71st minute. Should have been an assist.
