I wouldn't be so sure yet. I have seen Musah collapse on the pitch several times this season late in the 2nd half after he started. It is like he runs out of gas and just shuts down. <fingers-crossed>. But all in all I thought he was the best player for Valencia while he was in there. Created the 1st goal and earned the majority of corners and dangerous play. Had one lost possession that could have hurt but didn't.

Was looking at Futmob and saw he was subbed off due to injury, but sounds like it may have been in error then. Phew.
I'm half watching the match. The announcer said that hopefully the injury wouldn't keep Yunus from playing in the upcoming cup match. I didn't see him when he was down or when he came off.

Yunus Musah was forced to come off due to injury for Valencia. Hoping it's nothing serious. pic.twitter.com/3uwOFlI7ix— USMNT Only (@usmntonly) April 11, 2022
Cool, yet another muscular injury for a young player. Per the article he reached for his right thigh immediately and signaled for the trainers.
He went down twice but the other team played on so he sprinted back onto the defense. Then once the ball went dead he went down. probably a precaution and it looked to be in the upper side thigh area from what I could tell he was favoring as he went off. So probably took a surface knock there. Injury occurred right around the time he gets subbed anyways so it could have part of the script. as performance goes. He put a good ball into space and basically got a hockey assist. He started to move in centrally about ten minutes into the second half and Valencia started to control the ball a lot better.
He didn't seem to indicate it was anything serious in his post-game interview. "I'm happy with my performance and I hope to be able to return on Saturday." https://www.valenciacf.com/es/artic...osasuna-con-el-apoyo-de-la-aficion-2022-04-11
Not saying he wasn’t injured, but this year Musah is becoming an elite flopper. Approaching Hoppe level. Watteau should do a video on it. Which I don’t mind at all.
I would be surprised if Musah was not on the bench in the next game. It really just seems like he isn't a 90 minute player.... he just doesn't have a good gas tank. I think half the time he drops down in his starts in the 2nd half it is because he is winded.

oh well, we now know if Musah can take a penalty. You can see him altering his shot when he realized Bravo guess him right.

Musah did not look like he was taking it too hard after the game. I was surprised that he was one of the 5 chosen to take the penalties. It did look like he altered his shot when Bravo guessed the right way, and he ended up lifting it too high.
My friends are still out in El Carmen drinking the night away. The loss hurts me more than just having Yunas miss as I spent years living there. They don‘t blame Yunas, the Cava is flowing, and I wish I was there. If you ever have the time take the train south from Barca and stay in Valencia for a few days if you can. Very underrated city. Oh well. We‘ll get‘em next time kid.
