I thought it was on Tuesday at the Arab Cup opener in Qatar when Qatar plays Bahrain... at halftime. Don't know what they'll do as Ghana + DR Congo's games are still under investigation

I can't wait until the draw because I definitely want to see who my country Ghana faces in the playoff

Ehhh! A fellow Ghanaian. Hello Brother. I can't believe they wanted to investigate our game. I mean there was just a Qatar game with 17 minutes of extra time in the Arab cup but yeah let's investigate this game.

I'll take all the Pot 1 sides except Algeria. I'd love to see Mali surprise, but I think the Tunisians pull it together by March.

I’m sad but I guess it was always going to be a steep hill to climb for Mali and DR Congo. Not ideal for my preferences but fingers crossed that at least Senegal, Cameroon and Nigeria make it. Would love Mali to shock Tunisia but Tunisia is so damn good at grinding out these playoffs.

I take it from your comments here that you're not a huge fan of the North African teams.

As a Ghanian, I was hoping we got Mali or Congo as we can beat them. Nigeria will be a huge lift and we are in a dreadful run of form. Changing coaches for 3rd time in a WCQ is insane. The problem is the players. No longer the golden generation we need a coach with a simple style and philosophy. Bring back Avram Grant.

DR Congo - Morocco , as i expected from Halilhodzic he makes it hard for us again for a game that we could have won if we played our usual game according to our nature with now long ball 80s English football style, but this man i am sure he will not continue anyway even if we manage to qualify for WC2022,so his last game will be next Tuesday , Egypt-Senegal the visitors despite losing they really dominated the game and they just need a good finisher , the Egypt's goal is an offside i don't know why VAR didn't work for it .
Anyway as African fan i want Senegal , Nigeria and Morocco to qualify , because i think they are the best sides versus high international level the other teams i rate them equal.
The reason i included Morocco too because i know our true strength and with a decent coach i promise the neutral fans that you will see a better version much better and that'll if we manage to qualify of course.

    Morocco should qualify.

Hopefully they fire Halihodzic. He is terrible. Do you really think they would fire him ?

Getting to the big show is the job. Plus they would have to eat the contract.

Ghana is on its 3rd coaching qualifying though so who knows. I like Addo's recruitment and giving new guys a chance. Didn't look great in Kumasi which is a concern as going into Lagos will be tough to walk away with points from.

I think after the game no matter what the result , he will announce his depart, knowing that his a man with pride . this is the best way to do it .

That is very unlikely especially after a 4 - 1 win.
Changing coach is always a gamble, if we hire a foreigner he'll need time to know the players and find the right chemistry, if we hire a local there is always a risk that the players don't respect him enough to follow him.

We are gambling anyway with him, i don't think we are a totally broken team that needs to rebuild everything from zero, the time until world cup is very enough , with six possible matches to play, a decent coach who fit our style of play will get the job done, maybe someone from Netherland or Spain , if not possible to hire a foreigner our Team B coach is good choice too.

Ammouta is the same kind of coach as Vahid, I don't see him as an upgrade. If we don't bring a coach who can manage the best players of the country (Ziyech, Mazraoui, Hamdallah) I don't see any good reason to change.

    Kicking Nigeria out :D

Group at the WC is really bad for Ghana though. Portugal and Urus are clearly better and should finish in the spots for the knockout stage. South Korea are fighters with some talent. There is a real prospect the Black Stars could finish with 0 points.

Then again I never would have believed they could beat Nigeria. So maybe some hope? The offense is really terrible though, can we clone Baby Jet pls.

I wish we could trade with Senegal. I don't understand how we ended up in pot 4.
