Here we go, have tickets to the return leg in Manchester and will honestly just be happy to be there, so tonight it's all room to over achieve Haven't seen Sporting live since October 2019 in the Europa League group stages, we've come a long way since
May sound defeatist, but after all we've been through the last few years after the Alcochete incident it feels good to be here. Just a proper European night.
It's a goal. Even the City players thought it was offside but on the replay it looks onside. Inacio's foot keeps them onside 0-1
Inacio continues to be inconsistent. Dude isn't ready for NT call-up. Esgaio is also trash and continues to be a liability at the back.
I mean, Porro can try and close him out but he just runs away from the play. This fixture is over. Embarrassment incoming, and very deserved.
Wish he would do that for Portugal once in a while instead of sucking every time he puts on the NT jersey
Coates rolling back the years. If this gets humiliating, I can't see this team winning against Estoril this weekend with all the suspensions.
I would say we're not even playing badly. But Esgaio and Matheus Reis are having an awful time. Esgaio is gonna be traumatized and have nightmares like Vinagre vs Ajax. We should sub in Feddal to at least improve that side of defense. Also Pote can be subbed too he's doing nothing imo.
They are playing against a team that have 4 times the payroll as Sporting. If it wasn't for Arab Oil money, Manchester City will probably be in the 2nd division. UEFA is unwilling to address the disparaging differences between clubs. It seems you only have a handful of clubs that are winning the champions league. I have been calling for a salary cap for years. This is not good for football.
