But in that case CCV was clearly never good enough for Spurs and they were playing for Champions' League.

HK are in 2 Bundesliga and they're mostly playing to remain mid table. They are in position to take more chances w/ a prospect.

I observed they are a team that doesn't play guys under 21 really (a total of 200 minutes this season) as much as they were hyping their youth project.

Your club's willingness to take chances for upside and to be sellers is of ultra-importance. So you have to choose very wisely.

This is why I'm still paranoid about our players going to Wolfsburg. Being on the bench can be fool's gold. That's where some stay permanently or don't get a real opportunity. I'll believe Wolfsburg integrates Paredes when it happens.

This is a joke. HK are flailing right now, on d too, and they still won't give the guy a chance, simply because he's unintegrated, and not 23 yet. They only play one guy younger than that, and it's off the bench, out of midfield. Bad option for young Nats, in spite of hyping their youth program. Our kids we send over should realize actions speak louder than words.

    TODAY'S THE DAY

Trailing 2-1 early second half vs. Paderborn. Guess the manager heard theduke's exasperated post above.

You never know until you try. He was next man up, when their team was struggling.

It wasn't an official assist. But he did a nice job of getting on a diagonal off a set piece, and then quickly sent it in w/ his left to put pressure on the defender. Led to a handle for a pk they buried.

Paderborn scored 2 against after Carrera came on. Their d was at 6's and 7's for as long as I watched. Nobody could track their man, rotate, and intercept. Paderborn could have scored 6.

Carrera looked like initially he was playing rcb in a 3-man line. But later pushed up to be a target. HK almost rescued a point at the death (lost 3-4).

No idea if he was at fault for goal 3 against. Came in later than that. Saw the replay on 4, and it seemed around where Carrera was stationed, but he wasn't in the picture. So probably pushed up to pressure, but they bypassed him. A lot went wrong after. Like I said, their d looks bad.

He was a little tentative on the ball. Which you'd expect for a debut. I think a functional organization starts him at least next game and sees how that goes. They have to try something different given how things are going and factor in that new players need a couple games to get comfortable.
