I’m very happy for Josh. A lot of the boys fighting relegation have been helping their clubs out well lately.

Just a week or so ago we were reading tweets about the fans booing Sargent during pregame warmups.... He ends up missing the game due to the birth of his child and two games, two goals and 6 points later and the away fans are chanting USA and Sargent. Feel like the kid has been snakebit for a while. Love to see him have a great game to help his team get a huge result.

Loved this quote from the post-game presser:

"Now can we vote on a better thread title?"

Good chance they fall back into the relegation zone once all the games in hand are sorted but they have certainly pulled themselves up into the fight

Que golazo! Happy for him. As much as I critique him would happily be wrong.

Fantastic for Josh and should do wonders for his confidence. Loved the shots of Josh at the end of the game and the fans chanting USA!

Not sure why so many here are so quick to bury a 21 year striker in his first year in the EPL playing for a newly promoted club.

Disappointed, he was left off the USMNT roster but might be better for him to stay with is his new baby and club right now anyway.

Bwa ha ha. Sarge’s foot was just accidentally up in that awkward backward position, eh? Right…..

I’ll admit, it did seem like a lucky goal, but accidental it was not.

If it happens in a Brazilian/Argentinian, then they will go all the gaga.

He’s just flailing his leg there. Lucky to make any contact and he certainly didn’t mean to put it in the corner. Second goal is better because he actually meant it, even if it could have been saved.

On the flip side, Norwich will be getting more rest for their squad down the stretch. Burnley in particular is going to be tested trying to make up all those games and needing results.

He can score against Watford is the correct answer, apparently.

They're going to wish they'd doled those out a bit more evenly, I'm going to wager.

Have you watched his games? Aside from the being hexed in front of goal (aside from today) he's looked pretty decent. You make it sound like he's not fit for ballboy.

He has not looked decent. He's looked completely ineffective.
