Played the first 56 minutes. 97th minute equalizer saved a point for Frosinone.

His second start of the season. Has steadily climbed back into the rotation.

He did well in his short time - had a shot off the crossbar around the 77th minute, and also assisted on the (chaotic) winning goal.

It was televised in Italy. It was watchable outside of Italy. I'll leave it at that. ;)

FOX secured the US rights to the Serie B back in September. A three year deal was announced. I’m not sure if matches have begun on any of the FOX platforms just yet. It’s rumored that Tubi, owned by Fox, was chosen as the platform. It’s a free streaming services which is a bonus.

They are currently showing the Parma game on Fox Soccer Plus, whatever that is. Apparently they plan to show 3 games per week.

Here in Germany I think Serie B is still covered by DAZN, but they are only occasionally actually broadcasting the games. I don't recall seeing it pop up on my schedule yet this season, and only a couple times in the previous. Honestly I was only watching the end of the Frosinone game this afternoon as a way to put off reading a paper that will almost certainly put me to sleep. Last season when Balotelli was at Monza was more worthwhile watching. :D

Subbed out at the half. They're now down 1-0.

Novakovich a 73rd minute sub, with the game 1-1. Ended that way. Stats make it look like Frosinone a bit fortunate to get the draw.

I guess they sufficiently hurt his value by mostly sitting on him in the final year of his contract, in conjunction w/ his injury, so he caved.

But he's barely above Horvath in the USMNT pool when it comes to bad career moves. I don't think their clubs, let alone status w/ them, reflects their caliber. But I'm sure Suyuntuy will seize on that to define them.

At some point one has to stop blaming the world and accept a player's limitations.

    82 Serie B league and playoff games; 17 goals & 15 assists
    29 Eredivisie games; 9 goals & 2 assists

That's not bad, but it's not great either. As for them having "hurt his value by sitting on him in the final year", when he extended on December 9th he'd played in 11 out of 16 games. Not sure how that's sitting on him.

In any case, if they had decided to do that, that was risky on their part. If anyone had made an offer he could have signed a precontract on January 1st in and seen out his existing deal. "If."

Horvath and him are well over 25, which is long past the "prospect" stage and neither have suffered serious injuries along the way. This is a ruthlessly performance-based business. Both of them are where they are now because they're at their levels - above his level in Horvath's case.

He is what he is. He has a career in the game. Good for him and I will root for him, but delusion isn’t my game.

Ironic how them offering to extend him makes him a failure, and Horvath is above his level even though he led an equivalent league in Belgium in save % while translating that ability in full to UCL/Europa.

Level heads or unwillingness to look case-by-case and desire to play a supposed voice of reason character?

Yea, Suyuntuy acted like them offering him while he was still under contract, and him accepting the offer, was a negative reflection on him.

Then it was implied by others that meant this is about the highest level he could look like he belongs at, as opposed to it having something to do w/ timing & leverage.

Outside the elite players a nation may produce, career outcome has a lot to do w/ circumstance & opportunity.

Even then, Vardy was among the best of his English generation, and at the same age as Novakovich, he posted 4 & 3 in a 2nd division. Injury may have factored in, like w/ Nova.

We'll see if Frosinone get promoted if he can get the hype of Tessmann, who went from rotational player in MLS to one in lower table Serie A. Frosinone were a goal away 2 years ago, led by Novakovich. They're on pace to be in the playoffs this year. If he moved up, & showed the competence of Tessmann, or better considering outside an injury-laden year he's been a key player for his club, all of a sudden that would somehow make him a better player in perception (not reality).
