10' Cedric down again and this time it looks like he's done. This substitution/shifting should be interesting. Aha, Chambers... how could I forget him?!

12' Ramsdale misjudges a clearance... right into Hendo. Punches out the ensuing corner, but a bit of a shaky start for our beloved keeper.

13' Now White gets into the act, deflecting it right across the face of our goal.

Could be a hattrick to Owen Gohl at this point. Jeesh.

As a fullback, Chambers. As an overall player, Cedric.

That’s the first mistake I’ve ever seen from Ramsdale !!

19' and we get our first shot, woohoo! A long-ranger from Laca that went several yards over.

Great high-pressing from us in the first 20 mins. But if we don't get something out of it, how long can we keep it up??

24' and Xhaka does what he does best. Red carded by taking down Jiota on the edge of the box. Hilarious!

p.s. Straight red means he misses the next 2 vital matches. We should come up with a apt nickname for this joker... Xhoker?

So that's a White/Sambi midfield this weekend then.

Gonna repeat that the AMN loan was really, really ********ing stupid. Future business or whatever, our midfield is ********ed this month, and it was entirely foreseeable.

26' Tavares & Holding coming on. Some serious shape shift coming up!

Edit: Just Holding at this point, swapping out Nketiah.

Gone for the rest of January basically. Honestly, I'd have no words if I was Arteta.

The words should be "we're moving heaven, earth, and £80 million to buy your replacement this month. Find a new club."

New game plan: bus-parking, damage-control for 60+ mins, and somehow somehow avoid more injuries.

This should be fun to watch. :p Actually I have to leave at HT for other duties... maybe a godsend?

Depends on whether it was violent conduct or a DOGO. I mean, it's a foul and a one game ban, but its hard to argue its violent conduct - he was playing the ball, studs weren't showing, etc.

Saka is clearly the player of the first half for us. Nearly all of our attacks have gone down his side. Just now he forced Matip into an awkward dangerous clearance. If we can get into HT at 0-0 it'll be a small miracle.

Saka playing great. What a waste of a game.

I thought straight red always meant 2 games minimum. But I'm certainly no authority on the rules.

Saving a goal by being sent off with 65 minutes left in the first leg of a two-leg tie isn't worth it.

Especially when it's the League Cup and that red rules you out for the most important North London Derby in like 5 years.
