Would be a very deserved call-up. Has adjusted very well to the PL since his move a couple of years ago and is having a tremendous season. He's been outperforming Sancho, Grealish and Rashford by a significant margin.
Sancho could end being one of the biggest wasted talents England has ever had if he doesn’t get back on form within a year or so. It’s why the future is so hard to predict in football - players that look pretty certain to be automatic selections for years to come suddenly lose form or suffer one injury and just fade away. While others come from no where to become top players.
Just shows how important managers are .. Klopp and Pep have both improved all their players .. I think we will see Stevie G having a similar effect on all the villa players
I don't think Sancho's performance level has even dropped that much, he's just in a woeful, dysfunctional team. If you look up and there are no options or you make a run and there's no one to find you there's not much you can do. Short of dribbling five players and scoring a worldy I'm not sure what's being expected of him. If I was him I'd want out of there as soon as possible. Nobody looks good in that team except the goalkeeper now and again.
And goalkeepers are the one position where the form of a team doesn’t have a great correlation on the form of the player himself. So many times a shambolic team is saved by the goalie still being at his best. It seems like hardly any of the players at Manchester United are even talking to each other anymore as everyone has turned on each other.
Sancho was bought for a role that no longer exists because they bought Ronaldo back and destroyed their planned system
They shouldn’t have brought Cronaldo back ... and built around Cavani up top Imho - at least for this season
Ronaldo was brought back for two reasons. One to stop Man City getting him and another because the merchandise sales brought a lot of money in. Footballing reasons didn’t really come in to it.
Well it ruined their season and now he’s apparently asking for a move away this month ... with PSG in the running
And Smith Rowe has injury problems that have limited his playing time and has helped push him towards becoming a super sub.
James Justin could return to the first team squad this weekend https://www.lcfc.com/news/2446550/r...ar1GJY79X9WlOxFUKEmq0EQPEqFnev6bBaHqsoIbsyuFE
