haha Madonna who was the hottest chick in the 90s got knocked up by a Colombian. If media doesn't want to portray us as handsome that is another thing. Hot women have to have hot parents. I remember going to Korea and being like yo the guys here are very good looking. Not till the BTS thing that chicks are into Korean dudes. Media makes asian dudes geeky and 4 feet tall. Its like they don't show a hot Colombian dude in the media in the US and if they do the guy is gay or a gardener. Also the midget thing. Everyone in my family is 6 feet or taller. When I go to Barranquilla the people aren't that short wtf are all these 5'4 guys showing up on our club teams. Chicks worldwide throw their panties at Maluma and James.
they were all crazy jacked when I was there. They have to go to the military my point is that it’s hilarious people think Asian and Hispanic woman are gorgeous but the men are dickless goblins
Maybe if he's home sick; was there months ago during the Copa America. I know that I am homesick after watching Encanto... :'(

And yet I guarantee Cuadrado is gonna insist on taking and wasting some free kicks and corners in the next qualifiers...
Rayyan lose again "at home" to lowly Umm Salal (I say at home as they seem to play games on neutral grounds for some reason in Qatar). New year, same ol' Al Rayyan...
And that's exactly what makes him an awful leader. The man kicking the dead balls should be the man who kicks them best.
Well, I am more of a JuanFer taking FKs guy myself but yes James should take more. It is just Cuadrado has earned the leadership in the chain of command with James acting like a child the last couple years so it is what it is.
And it's not childish to jeopardize your team's chances at winning? Cuadrado knows damn well James is better at dead balls than he is. He's not an idiot. So what's the point? Ego? Kicking James down a notch? Or just being petty? Whatever the reason is, it's selfish and detrimental to the team. Imagine if Ospina refused to let Falcao take a PK over him because he'd become the leader of the team while the other was away. Nobody would stand for that. And once he missed it the armband should be taken away from him for good.
It is not childish for a captain to do something he has been doing for us the majority of the last 12 months in training and in matches. It may be tactical and Rueda may have given him the choice as priority. The Ospina example is a bit extreme and would never happen.
It is childish. They've played with each other for over a decade, and for that entire decade James has taken the dead balls--regardless of the coach--because he's effective at them. And he's miles away more effective at them than Cuadrado is. It's also not a directive given by Rueda as James took the majority of the dead ball kicks when he did play in the last games. You play to win. And when football calls an individuals to perform a task, the best suited individuals take them. Ospina will never take a PK because he's not an idiot and knows there are better suited teammates to take it. The same way no one would step in to try and block a PK over Ospina. If you, the coach, or Cuadrado himself is OK with having Cuadrado continue to take our dead balls when James is on the field, then you're knowingly just giving away our chances to win points...and we haven't been winning much. For the captain and supposed leader of the team to be the one to refuse to cede the kick to James on more than one occasion as a home game gets closer and closer to finishing as a draw...that's damn childish.
I think you are making a mountain out of a molehill as they say. Overreacting to a play or two where he chose to take a FK over James. I do agree that James and JuanFer should be taking more mind you, as I specifically said that. Calling out Cuadrado though and saying he is childish for doing something he has been doing for months in training and in matches just does not seem logical to me. More emotional.
No. It's mountainous. Very. This conversation was spurned by someone posting a video of James getting an assist today from a corner. James is good at taking corners. Very good. No matter what his fitness is, he's good at creating from dead balls. 2 of his 3 assists in Qatar are from dead balls. 6 of his 8 assists for Everton were from dead balls. Dead balls are clear goal scoring opportunities. And often, these might be the ONLY clear scoring options a team gets. Colombia, these days, is a team getting VERY few scoring chances. EVERY corner we take matters. EVERY corner we take should be taken by the player whose BEST at them. LOGICALLY that person is James. Cuadrado has NO assists from dead balls. He creates no threat from dead balls. He NEEDS to be called out for that. Defending Cuadrado taking the corners because he has become the leader of the team is a damn terrible reason for his taking corners over someone who consistently sets up gols off of them. You being the leader of the team has nothing to do with how you hit a corner. That's illogical. If anything, the emotion was injected into this discussion when you said that Cuadrado has become the leader because James acts like a child. His off-field antics are totally extraneous, and this is grabbing at straws to defend something that should be criticized. And given how Rueda clearly allowed James to take the majority of the kicks from the get-go, it's Cuadrado and his little emotions--be it ego, pride, selfishness, jealousy, resentment or whatever--that forced him to waste a few legit scoring opportunities by taking corners away from someone HE knows is better at them.
