Yunus of at 88 Game tied at 1-1 after 90, going an extra 30 Valencia go ahead in the first half of extra time on their 2nd backheel flick goal of the game, ahead 2-1 entering final 15 minutes
Arenteiro corner in the 113th minute cleared, Valencia score on the jailbreak counter to go up 3-1, and that should be that Was really hoping YM would score in the 1st and 120th minute, but he's not on the field so...
No, I’m a big fan of Musah. But he’s a bit rough and tumble. He might be more appreciated in England.
I understand your point. He probably is more England ready, but if he wants a shot at EPL CL level type club then a tutoring in Spain is fine by me. Many folks are in a “rush” when it comes to our players (not saying this applies to you). I’m OK with some patience and learning on the job, especially if the future upside is there. I’ve said it before, but this quality youth explosion has blinded people. The circumstances are pretty unusual, and many forget, or don’t care or want to understand how how hard it is for these guys to succeed. I can’t wait until after 2026 when we start to have a combo of maturity and youth again. Needed. Folks used to quote Freddy Adu a lot. If you are good enough you are ready. Wrong. If you are good enough and mentally mature enough you are ready. I see a lot of youthfulness in Yunas. A little bit of mentoring, patience and learning seems right to me for right now.
All true, but Yunus is also a humble, hardworking kid and seems to have a really good head on his shoulders. Of all our young guys, I think he's my favorite. The kid's smile is infectious.
Impossible not to like him. IMO even more reason to have a bit of patience. There is so much there to like, and learning the Spanish way at 19 could do wonders for him over the next ten years.
Sorry, but whomever designed this version of kit for Valencia/Man CIty, etc. really mailed it in. Just bloody awful.
I don't think he needs to be in a rush to leave but it sure would be nice for him to be playing for a team that actually plays him in the center of the field. Impossible not to notice how much better he seems to play for the US than for Valencia and I think that is in large part to him being better suited as an 8 rather than a wide player.
