Might not be a popular opinion but I'm surprised no MLS has gone after him. He will count as a domestic player and can easily fit under the U22 DP rule. Might even get more playing time in MLS than in Brazil.

It would be great to have him in MLS.....can you imagine the introduction before the game? 20,000.....or 25,000....or put him in Atlanta with 50,000+ people saying
    in unison every game....."and heeeeeeeer's JOHNNY" :)

Red Bull has a team and they renovated a cute little stadium in Sao Paulo..not one of the big clubs. I don't remember seeing anything in the news, but kind of surprised that some younger players Red Bull Bragantino (Sao Paulo) don't make it to RBNY...of course, Here's Johnny plays for a different Sao Paulo team

Don’t let the gaúchos hear you say that. Johnny’s team is in Porto Alegre.

I would say Brazil too but he would probably get more playing time in MLS. Plus a move abroad from MLS could also happen if he were to perform here.

Johnny an unused sub in a 2-1 loss. Copa Sudamericana qualification will come down to the last match for them, vs Red Bull Bragantino on Thursday, as far as I can tell.

It takes some work to not make the Sudamericana from the Brasileirão, especially for a big club like Inter. All but four teams in the league either make a South American competition or get relegated.

They lose on a 92nd minute goal, but luckily stay in 12th place due to other results, I think.

Who makes a lowlights video of a fringe player and posts it to Twitter?

and who then copies that and posts it on bigsoccer.. oh wait... ha

I personally like to see analysis of actual plays by our YAs, most of the time they are super highlights (like the Wes and DLT recents) but it's ok sometimes to highlight some of the players weaknesses. It's analysis.

But I laugh because we rarely get any video of our fringe players playing abroad.. I'll take whatever we can get to be honest.
