This managerial musical chairs between Spuds and Yanited is downright confusing: 2018: Yanited fire Mou 2019: Spuds fire Poch 2019: Spuds hire Mou 2021: Spuds fire Mou 2021: Yanited hire Poch?
This is for any/all of you who follow Arsenal Women... Just recently things seem to have gotten a bit more difficult for being able to stream or watch highlights of them: 1. We beat United 2-0 last weekend (still undefeated!) and YouTube seems limited to either the full halves, or 5 mins of highlights with constant music. Hmm. But much more importantly... 2. We play Chelsea on Dec.5th at Wembley for the 2021 FA Cup Final. And I find no evidence being able to stream it live in USA. In the past I think I used TheFA.com but doesn't look like it this time. And when I look it up on LiveSoccerTV.com it says "No broadcasts found in your territory for this match" Anybody got any clues? p.s. I don't tend to use VPN software so I don't have any easy way of spoofing my geolocation.
a VPN is definitely recommended for any device, especially if you use any public networks. you can find some really good deals from reputable companies that only cost a few dollars a month. Compared to getting tracked or potentially hacked, that's a safe investment. Having the ability to use servers located in another country for instances like this is just a bonus, imo.
You may want to do a little research before you buy, but here’s my own experience: I got a really good deal on NordVPN a few years back. It was 3 years for only like $70 total. Now, I use Norton Security Suite, which includes a VPN that works well. There are a lot of other good options out there, and many of them will have promos tied to this time of year. If you find a reputable company at a good price, I‘d say just go with that.
Been going down the Under the Cosh podcast rabbit hole over the past few days. Some really good stuff - love the stories of average league players and they're careers. The Matt Kilgallon pod was a blast . . . Danny Mills came off like a dick . . . Ian Hume was really engaging . . . Clark Carlisle wa fascinating . . .etc.
We had a NordVPN license a while back but then had little use for it so let it go. I have Norton too but not sure I’m entitled to their VPN. One thing I know is be careful which VPN company you hitch up to. They are in the ultimate snooping position.
Second mulvad, they tick all the boxes re: security and not keeping logs etc, I don't lose much speed using them, so when I want to watch CL or EL I can do that and not worry about buffering etc. I haven't used it to spoof location for netflix etc so don't know if that works.
Virtual Private Network. Basically, it allows you to access the internet through a separate portal that encrypts your info and makes it a lot harder for people to hack or view said info. I'm sure other folks here can give you a much more detailed explanation, but that's the abridged version.
Crap, United make a good hire. 🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Man Utd reach agreement with Ralf Rangnick to become interim manager. 6mnth contract then 2yr consultancy. Deal subject to Lokomotiv Moscow approval. Just saw the summary of the Spuds late loss to Slovenian side NS Mura in Europa JV league. Always good for a laugh. happy thanksgiving, everyone.
That’s all true but the key thing that VPN’s do, for watching footy, is that you can connect through a VPN server in the country of your choice, so that the streamer thinks you reside in that country. So, for the women’s FA Cup Final, it’s streamed by BBC (supposedly) but only in UK. Since no one is streaming it in USA, I could vpn through a UK server to watch it on BBC. [For @thebigman]
