Completely disappeared. Injuries being shuffled about at club level and different managers and ideas have affected him. Defensively pretty solid. But the midfield balance and choices, the balance upfront need work. Patently clear Lautaro needs someone like an Alario or Alvarez to replace him. Julian is wasted out wide. de Paul aside from his last match where he was playing almost as a DM the other two starters Paredes and Lo Celso have been very bad. Contributing next to nothing creatively or defensively. Messi is not fit either which is a huge factor.Scaloni needs to bring in players in form like Quarta over Pezzella. Dominguez and Martinez over Paredes and even consider di Maria in midfield with de Paul. Just to remind some of these players. It's not an exclusive Copa winners club. You can lose your place if you do not perform here or at club level. Medina should be brought back in as well. Montiel needs a run out in the next few qualifiers. Scaloni can now experiment to a degree. Work with his staff and analysts on different patterns, minus Messi, minus de Paul and study some of the other teams who have qualified and look at their strengths and weaknesses. The team is qualified and the really hard work begins here but this time Scaloni needs to use the time wisely and build depth into the squad and minutes and remind players they need to keep pushing harder. He also has to stop the problem all managers seem to have. Attachments to particular players regardless of form and fitness. Data does not support these sentimental hypotheses.
Worth a hundred million apparently. A hundred million sand grains ? A hundred millions hats ? When you compare him to some of the players the selecao had back in the day well they have declined.
Ahnn, if the reports are true, then we’ll get the 3 points from that much. I wish we got them then. I think that’s when we were at our best. We were full of confidence and ready to take them on.
So what is it... 27 games undefeated now, no? Second year in a row that no one could take us down. Getting closer to Italy’s record, although unlike the Tanos our streak isn’t filled with fluff victories over Estonia, San Marino, Moldova, Lithuania and Liechtenstein
Needs to beat Basile record first, which is 31 games unbeaten when the team won back to back Copa & confederation. Regardless the underwhelming performance from this round, result was great nontheless. 4 points in a round that includes Brazil & Uruguay (away). Just like Brazil, it seems that these days its hard to score against us, even in bad day we're still getting a point or 3.
Well , with still many games left including multiple home games, we're certainly will qualify soon or later. So Im actually more happy with the news that Chile lost than we actually has qualified lol
My ratings: Emi - 6 he responded in the few he had to intervene. Brazil had chances but they mostly missed them or made poor shots. Molina - 5 struggled at times in defense, did well in other plays. Romero - 8 excellent like always. Too bad he didn't end the game. Otamendi - 7 solid. Should have seen the red card though. I just hope he doesn't do shit like that in a world cup knockout game... Acuña - 5.5 had a meh first half, improved in the last 20 minutes of the game with some offensive runs. De Paul - 8 best player in the team. A lion defensively. Took the reins of the team in the worst moments. Paredes - 6 was fine in the half he played taking into account his physical condition. Lo Celso - 3 another awful game. Lost many balls and provided nothing in attack. His club form is translating to NT... Messi - 3 shouldn't have played this game but it was Brazil so he forced it. Did almost nothing right though he improved in the last 15 minutes. Di Maria - 6 looked sharp in the 1v1 but the other attackers didn't help him much. Lautaro - 5. Pressed well, was feeded almost nothing unfortunately. Still, subbing him off at HT for Correa was an awful decision by Scaloni. J. Correa - 3 he's a mediocre winger yet Scaloni thinks he's a striker for some reason... Lisandro Martinez - 4 no, he's not a good CDM option. Doesn't have the correct positioning knowledge for the job despite his good passing. Pezzella - 6. He's just meh in general but at least didn't screw up. Alvarez, Dominguez - no rating.

I sure hope Corona is paying them a good buck, if not these fools need to up their product placement game!

Funny how things workout, eh Loco? One day, he’s a pibe wearing a Boca jersey and the next he’s playing to some of the best players in history.
Nice try at trolling, but that picture is from when he tried out for Boca (as you already know) .. but even if he really was a bostero, it’d still be fine by me as long as he continues banging in the goals. In fact, even better, just like when a bostero like Pratto sealed the disappearance of the former club known as Boca Juniors Damn, I knew you liked Enzo Perez, Matias Suarez, and Armani, but I didn’t know you rated them that high! Good shit, Mario!
Needs to fully rest Messi in remaining games and fields Dybala, Alvarez, Licha Martinez, Palacios. Also, should call up Simeone since Tucu hasnt been any good apart from few games. I think we needs to try out Musso aswell. I mean, we needs to prepare for worst scenario... like in 2006 and 1990 when Pato and Pumpido gets injured... At this point Emi doesnt have to proof himself anymore.
