The players need that extra "umph". Whatever that may be. Maybe it's the mental aspect or form because if Mexico takes advantage of those two counters against the US early, they're up 1-0 and it changes the US' game plan and puts the guys more at ease.

Here, if Memo blocks it out to a corner like he's supposed to, at minimum we get a 0-0 tie because Canada never looked very dangerous in attack. Neither did we I guess it came down to who was more mentally focused and aware.

Love Ochoa, but it's time to step aside. Talavera should have played since he actually goes out and gets air balls.

True. I would say Gudino. Dude is 6'5. Talavera is 39 but I guess maybe he can still cut it.

We can't count on Memo against teams that rely on crosses and set pieces. It's killed us back then, it's killing us now. Juan Cambios Osorio was wise enough to use Talavera and get us the W against the US in 2016.

The 3 cbs thing was actually pretty decent. Kept most things at bay except obviously for the goal.

I think if it was Montes-Vasquez-Moreno it would have been more ideal and probably better.
