This game looks a lot like the Mexico game in tactics because Berhalter was told not to overthink. Would that be the game Jamaica prepared for?

I'd rather have Turner starting, but I doubt he'd have saved that. Biggest share of the blame has to go to Adams for giving him the space to get off that shot uncontested.

I love how people were putting Zimmerman in Europe after his performance last game, and in this game his distribution has been downright dreadful.

 

Let him turn cleanly to the middle with enough room to wind up and crank the shot uncontested.

 

I love Adams, but that is on him and Acosta makes no difference. You show people away from goal. You don't overcommit to someone's off foot going away from goal, allowing them to cut back to the middle of the field and shoot.

 

Just slightly more precision and we're looking good here. We're close, but too many plays are just in step off here and there. When we're patient and control the ball, Jamaica can't do much about it.

 

Zimmermans passing is making me crazy. He must have 8 or 9 giveaways. Thanks goodness for his defense.
