Pero todavia dicen que Liga MX > MLS .

That argument doesn't matter when 90-100% of their team plays in Europe. Romo, Chaka, Gallardo, Memo ( who has great reaction time but is lost on distribution, giving away too many balls), Cata. They all looked like shit and the subs didn't make it any better. Actually felt worse.

HH and Tecatito pretty much useless when they don't have much playing time and are not up to rhythm.

Johan, Alvarez, Chucky, and Raul of course they're going to look off when they have to pick up the slack and don't have support.

True, Mexico is still cruising to qualify.

Still, I think they should pull the trigger and fire his ass. Not calling arteaga, Antuna, Lainez, and Vega is criminal. Subs were late by 10-15 minutes.

I’d like to roll the dice with Lozano.

No one is surprised about him being shitty. He's been shitty for quite a few games now including with Porto. At this rate, I wouldn't even take him to the world cup. Chuky, Lainez, Vega, and Antuna should be the wingers.

Again… I missed the game because I had family over. 3 times in a row dude jeez. This isn’t an exaggeration but is Tara going to change or is this what we are just going to get?

Jesus Corona isn't playing in Porto because he wanted to go, didn't, is going to go free and so the team freezed him up. It obviously lead to a terrible form. In the end that's the problem of lacking depth which was funny that it was the US who normally always had the problem, and now it's us. I read on Twitter about how Pulisic coming on from the bench isn't the same as Alvarado (another of the 10 guys who should have gone to Europe and now is on the road to stagnation).

First Mexico game I’ve watched in its entirety in a long time. Waste of my time. No imagination in the second half.

Actually not this specific Mex vs USA one. The USA may have not have qualified for the last WC or the last 4 of the 5 Olympics but they adjusted fire on their longer term game plan (pun intended). Nos burlamos y me incluyo que mandan jugadores a europa por casi gratis o a cifras muy accesibles. Bueno, les está dando frutos porque saben que el fútbol es a nivel mundial y esto es a largo plazo.

Like I said, no va pasar nada and Mexican fútbol will continue to be Mexican fútbol with all the baggage. Mexican fútbol does not have a long term vision. Over the last 20 years, the wins for the USA have accumulated. This match specifically was not a case donde los EEUU ganó o anotó de panzazo. Nos ganaron bien. El Tata was given what he has to work with. We can bring Pep Guardiola y no pasa nada.

I'm having an episode rn triggered by my ptsd from the chepo era. It single handedly ruined any enjoyment I experienced in 2013. It's quite eerie, tbh. No subs until very late in the game, too late for them to make a differencr and when they come on they're shit. Players who have no business being there, much less starting, yet keep doing so and worsen with every match. It's the same feelings of hopelessness and despair, knowing that nothing will change and it will inevitably get worse, somehow.

I'm being doomer af but godamnit man 3 times in the span of 6 months is unacceptable. Martino has either learned NOTHING or doesn't give af and is collecting his paycheck. For all his faults. Osorio seemed to care and the players liked him.

Lozano isn’t qualified for the job.

Mexico just lost its first game in qualifying in one of the tougher fixtures they have.

What’s concerning is the way the team were thoroughly dominated in the 2nd half without any adjustments made at all to turn the tide until it was too late.

Tata needs to mend fences and bring in everyone he can into the fold. We’re not a national team that can afford these personal spats and mamadas.

Even Piojo with all of his antics never froze anyone out and sought to unify and squeeze every last drop of our talent base.

Cheech should at minimum be on the bench.

Lainez with no playing time still offers you a much needed spark.

Or maybe because Porto probably saw Tecatito playing like crap and losing all his 1 v 1 matchups over the summer against Concacaf opponents in the Gold Cup. Tecatito can't get by anyone anymore and isn't a threat on the counter. He hustles and that's good, but he's not good anymore at the senior level. Defenders have already figured him out.

In the past 6 months, 3 losses 0 wins vs US. 1 tie vs Canada at home. FMF, bow down, accept you're shit, and then start from there. Recognize that this ship is heading nowhere if things don't change. Raul and Alvarez are the only Europeos with consistent playing time. Maybe Johan now but we'll see. Chucky gets some decent time but everyone is either on the bench or playing in la Liga MX.

And 3 who had been regulars are close to coming back to this side of the pond (Guardado, Herrera, Tecate). México is in a very bad spot.

If Mexico doesn't figure things like this out, they are going to be left in the dust. But we still think guys like Luis Romo are doing fine staying in Cruz Azul forever because we had no euro players in 1998 blah blah blah....

I agree with you on the lainez part, but cheech nah people seem to forget how awful he’s always been on eliminatorias, I’d rather have Martin and maybe even gimenez
