We were absolutely clueless all game. As much as I want to blame Chaka and Tecatito, the team not having a game plan is on the coach.
In actual running speed no, but where it counts is the decision making and most of these guys don’t have it to play that way for 90 minutes.
They knew how weak we are at fullback and they exposed it. that’s 3 games in a row that their coach has owned Tata.
This team sucks. If the same players were around in the chepo era 100% they wouldn't make it to the 2014 WC.
Which is why I said we need to get better technically to replicate them. They're not trying to become a sprint team. So why should we?

Exactly. Some players were terrible, but the same weaknesses we saw during the gold cup and the nation's league final are still there. Tata didn't learn a damn thing.

There's not much to say. Usually we'd outplay them, but this time they ran them off the pitch. At this rate even Canada is going to beat Mexico regularly. This team is neither athletic or technical enough. The nads always had the atheltism, but now they have a technique level the same as ours. As cringy and spazzy as they are they will surpass us because of the diversity and player pool the country has access too. Gallardo and Chaka were predictably abused and the midfield was never going to keep up with their pace or stamina. This is what happens when you don't trust youth. Martino should go IMO took forever to adjust and make subs.
Tecatito isn't good and shouldn't be starting. He had a terrible summer and so far a bad year with Porto. He doesn't even play and he still out there with Mexico losing the ball trying to do a little too much dribbling. I never mentioned Alvarado. He's not senior team material either.
The US deserved to win. They were the better team today by a long shot. Mexico has no game plan; all they were doing was crossing the ball and hoping to find Raul. Tata sucks ass, he takes way too long to do any substitutions. Hopefully Vega can play instead of Corona next time and Cordova over Herrera.
