Updated NISA Fall Season Attendance as of 11/11/2021:

    81 matches played

    Detroit City: 6,076/4,664/3,894/3,969/3,689/3,817/4,053/3,833/4,721

    Chattanooga FC: 2,916/2,008/2,158/1,946/1,960/1,810/2,659/1,420

    Michigan Stars: 1,628/1,857/0/0/0/0/0/0

    Chicago House: 1,183/1,013/863/958/663/939/1,214

    California United: 653/525/0*/685/1,738/345/415/1,272/0*

    New Amsterdam: 278/333/404/319/422/360/574/398

    Maryland Bobcats: 305/362/292/312/222/301/372/212

    1904 FC: 237/182/393/342/245/259/301/168

    Stumptown: 167/189/164/245/399/398/362/317

    Los Angeles Force: 0/0/175/0/0/0/0/0

    • Detroit City leaving to USL will really affect attendance. As more than half of NISA teams average less than 1,000 fans, I'm predicting a significant drop.

Detroit would only have the 12th highest average attendance in the USL-C. Imagine.

10 people would notice this but looks like 1904's head coach quietly resigned without any press release. Team is in last place so in theory since this is an open league/system, defending champions Detroit City moved up a division, 1904 will be relegated (fold?)

    Michigan Stars vs. LA Force.

A battle between two teams with zero fans.

Hey now, at least expansion teams AC DC Syracuse Pulse and Vague Valley United will boost the attendance up right?

Apparently not, the league announced that it cancelled the match and given a 1-1 draw because of breakthrough COVID positive tests.

(Personally, I think it's just sour grapes because DCFC switched)

I assume Demba Ba and Eden Hazard have removed themselves from the fiasco that was 1904 FC!?

So they're now owned by a youth academy (which by the way has taken the ancient name for Britain).

Yep. I will say this: I love how ambitious Demba Ba was. For example, when 1904 played at the San Diego Stadium, he really believed his club would sell it out.

Keep the shenanigans coming, NISA, because "PRO/REL FOR USA!"

2-3 years to go I guess...

On the other hand, I'll give NISA until 2023 to be as the model and best point of reference for American soccer.

    (not gonna happen)

I just realized how screwed Chattanooga is if NISA fails. They won't be able to join USL, as the Red Wolves have territorial rights presumably, and not only would MLS Next Pro be considered a total sellout but I don't think MLS would want to butt heads against USL, at least not yet.

Oh I think CFC would join MNP in a hot minute if NISA fails. And I seriously doubt MLS cares about how USL feels about it.

Protagonist Soccer interview with Chicago House AC's Peter Wilt. Looks like there will be A LOT of restructuring within CHAC. I honestly thought CHAC was going to fold upon after the conclusion of the NISA fall season.

In other NISA news, Syracuse Pulse modified their once hideous logo. This franchise reminds me of the San Francisco Deltas of the NASL. Reason being: The identity of this club has very little ties to Syracuse and its history. For example, I would've thought of a different moniker that had ties to Syracuse's history, along with having orange as one of the primary club colors.

Not that I have never had any love for them, but are the Cosmos ever coming back? Or are they still complaining about all of the fields in Queens and Brooklyn not giving them favorable rent?

Commisso has basically abandoned the Cosmos after buying his Serie A team. Doesn’t look like he intends on bringing them back.

There's no point of playing until the field situation is settled, period. To use any of the available local fields is a guaranteed revenue loss.

So how do they settle the field situation without using someone else's stadium?

There's very few places to build in the metro NYC area, in the city is even tougher; ask NYC fc, I've heard a few times they were about to announce a stadium in the Bronx but putting the final pieces together is difficult. A soccer stadium at Belmont was rejected by the state, from Cosmos' point of view it was a good a place to build [bordering Queens/Nassau county. Having a stadium and controlling those revenues is vital. This is going to take awhile.

I mean Notts County's stadium is technically leased from the City of Nottingham. And it's not even leased to us, it's leased to a non-profit organization that gifted us £3 million when we were about to go out of business.

Most European stadiums are leased or rented from local government, from the San Siro to the Stade de France to the Etihad Stadium.
