All it took was one sketchy report of him committing to the US

What?? When did I say Morris or Turner? I think you’re of the impression that I am anti-MLS. I am not. I am anti-mediocre MLS players. I’d have rather seen Cade Cowell than Arriola or Roldan as well. There, happy?

and if 47 Championship league appearances by age 19 is sub-championship level, then idk what to think anymore.

I don't remember him starting until this most recent game. But they did win it 3-0. He's had about 10 appearances in the last six weeks, mostly as their first or second attacking sub. He's important in the rotation of what is suddenly a mid-table Championship club, has physical gifts, and is only 19. That's a solid resume for a fringe friendly callup with upside for the US, and also a dude who may have been ready to kiss any England dreams goodbye.

For me he is an early developer that isn't able to hold on starting position on MLS level team. Talking only of his position I have both Cowell and Paredes ahead off him. So him switching after realising that England isn't an option, doesn't excite me. And if I need to choose between him and Roldan today, that's easily Roldan.

Mighten subbed on in the 72nd minute, immediately after a WBA red card for Molumby (two-footed tackle above the ball, but soft for that nasty description), into a scoreless tie. Horvath on the bench.

75' Mighten collects a punt, beats a man to the endline, lefty cross to the back post finds a teammate but may have been slightly overcooked. Nice job beating his man and it helped earn a corner that Yates headed over.

Mighten came in for a central defender, but unsurprisingly not playing there - He's on the left side of the attack as they go for the win 11 v 10.

Samba horrible thrown distribution leads to a turnover and a dangerous cross in front of the goalmouth. Too bad Forest don't have a better keeper on the bench.

83: Mighten first to react to a ball inside the box wide. Picks out the right pass to the open man 8' from goal, key shot block keeps us tied.

Full time 0-0. Played pretty well - two good plays to help create chances, one turnover. Right side of West Brom defense did well to close him down quickly with two, and once three, defenders, forcing him to make a retreating pass to keep possession 3-4 times. Nice road draw against a squad in the promotion battle, but they'll be a little disappointed after 20 minutes up a man to miss out on the chance to win.

The knee injury couldn’t have happened at a worse time. There was speculation he was going to head out on loan in January to get needed minutes

Do you know if this is one of those Chilwell type injuries where they try to rehab it and then it turns into a surgical case where he misses the rest of the year?

Mostly off the ball runs for Mighten. His best chance, he was offside. After a couple straight DNPs, though, nice to get some run.
