Two interesting pieces of news today. (1) Bavaria has again restricted attendance at matched--this time to 25% of capacity--for upcoming matches due to a COVID spike in Europe. (2) Valencia CF is in danger of going bankrupt. They have been in dire debt straits for years. They tried to build a new stadium in 2007. In 2009, they stopped work, and it's been sitting there ever since. Now the local authorities are demanding that Valencia finish the job. Valencia is over 400 million Euros in debt, though current expenses are being covered by income from media rights, etc.
Anyone who was expecting anything close to a repeat of the previous Madrid-Sheriff match, well...sorry about your luck.
There will be at least one "ghost game" in the Bundesliga this weekend--in Leipzig. OTOH, Cologne is at full capacity for their rivalry game vs Gladbach. Most are between 25-50% permitted capacity. Dortmund is using a "chess board" (their term) approach to stagger fans.
Here's a mock-up based on a leaked design for Liverpool's new shirts. If you thought our white/gray kit was bad or if be you thought the red/blue US kits induced seizures, you're probably not ready for this monstrosity. 1466207511862779909 is not a valid tweet id

I've got one of their jerseys, purchased the last time we were in Berlin (about 8 years ago). One of the few former East German teams that is doing well in the upper levels (RB Leipzig does not count, as they were created well after Unification).
Not reported in Kicker, yet, but the reports are likely correct. Must be a bit frustrating for Marsch as he wasn't able to coach in recent games due to COVID and because Leipzig's team lost a lot of good players over the summer.
