Your college team staff made you walk 40 minutes across campus after injuring yourself. What college was this? Good thing you hadn't broken your leg.
That's part of the results, but playing statistically-significantly less time lasts for five months, which is more time than it normally takes to get match fit. The second part of the results is that, conditional on being on the field, passes, possession, and touches go down. This effect didn't go away in the period under observation
Dude, division 3 soccer in the mid 80's was 'shake it off man' haha Proud to say my senior year we won our league, beat a bunch of Division 1 schools, I got MVP of the league and an offer to play pro indoor soccer at wages that you would laugh your ass off at.... (but no, I won't identify the school)
That would make sense to really slow down his rehab if there's somewhat a plan in the work to sell him come January....But I suspect he's probably truly still hurt. At the very least, Chelsea will try to bring in a player of similar profile as CP and if they can acquire such a player, it would make it a bit easier to sell CP for even a lost..I don't see any big club paying what Chelsea paid to buy him from Borussia Dortmund.
Yup...the problem is Tuchel clearly expected CP to be back in 10 days..Now, that was right after he got back from International duty more than a month ago. This clearly suggest Chelsea doctors either horribly misdiagnosed his ankle sprain or CP is simply a slow healer...or maybe he got reinjured during his rehab.
do you always go out and buy what Jim Cramer recommends? I could care less what Tuchel says when you could clearly see this was a serious sprain. If you have suffered a grade 2 sprain (hint I have) while playing you would realize it takes a certain period of time to properly rehab and come back. 5 - 8 weeks .... but don’t believe me - just keep saying the sky is falling.
What Tuchel said was: "We have two (injury updates)," said Tuchel to reporters. "Kante and Pulisic came back injured. N’Golo was injured in the Liverpool game and suffers a little. We are trying to answer the next question, we try for N’Golo on Tuesday and it looks pretty good. Christian unfortunately came on crutches yesterday, an ankle injury with about ten days." About ten days to what? Being able to walk without crutches? Ten days until rehab could start? Ten days until back to training with the team? Tuchel English is still a work in progress. Frankly, it was the media that completed his sentence as "ten days out" but he never said it.
Go to 9:52 here: "For christian unfortunately he came yesterday on crutches and yeah we have like a... ankle injury with about 10 day."
Yes, Ronaldinho would be proud. Outside of foot, inside of foot, inside of other foot. I would like to see that kind of dribbling more often, plus other types of dribbling moves.
Just stop replying to that guy. Trolls don’t do well in a vacuum. With that said, it is valid to discuss his injury prone status. Just without all the self righteous hyperbole
If Robben could finish half the chances Pulisic makes for himself he would have been the best player in history. I mean, every shot is a chance. Finish half your shots in a career and they probably rename the sport after you.
Come on. Puli had 4 goals in 1735 minutes last season. One goal every 434 minutes. Zouma, a CB, had 5 goals in 2027 minutes. One goal every 405 minutes. So it's not like he's creating 10 chances per game. Let's be honest. It's more like two per game, and he needs about 9 or 10 to score one. It's basically a goal every five 90-minute periods played.
I think it was 6 total goals last year (including CL) .... in the UCL it was 2 goals in 420 minutes - 1 per 210. and one per 434 in regular season. this year it is one goal in 82 minutes playing time. a. he plays better in CL than regular season b. he needs to be healthy (yes I get the theory that is "fragile"). watching them playing Brentford ... looks like they still miss his ability to carry the ball forward in the attacking third.
