Weah off in the 59th as part of a triple sub.

Worked hard, no end product. Same criticism applies to all of the Lille attack.

Lille looks every bit a mid-table team with a negative goal differential.

He did ok and was really growing into the game in the 2nd half. Dumb sub.

Also, he had arguably his best game for Lille as a ss. So the manager places him on the right, where he can't even cut in, and plays a 2 donk cf formation. \

Poor job by Lille's skipper. They miss Galtier.

They scored because the keeper dropped a ball right in his hands on a set piece. There was nothing to it.

And the impetus is really on them down 2 goals. Weah himself was creating quite a bit in the first 13 minutes of the half.

I agree. He just had a great game as a forward. Logic indicates you try it again and see if it’s a trend.

Weah came on 72nd minute against Marseille. Konrad on the bench. Lille up a man and 1-0.

Weah assist to David to end it! Popped up ball behind the defense that Weah does well to settle, stumbles, rolls it across nine yards out and David blasts home first time leaving the keeper no chance. 2-0 and it's over.

I call it a popped up ball, I probably should call it a cleverly chipped by Sanches. Weah almost messed it up twice, but recovered to lay it on a platter for David.

I feel like Weah's balance, for being such a great athlete, is not very good. He's a bit "Bambi on skates" sometimes as the Brits would say

The problem was that Bambi had no skates. It was the ice without skates that was the problem. Why can't people see this?

Weah knew that ... adding the lineup for convenience.

Down 1-0 at half. Didn’t watch. Anyone watching with a Weah update?

I was watching Scally with BMG and switched at the half to watch Tim (from kick off as it was recording) and it seemed to me that he lacked the usual spring in his legs. Switched back to BMG just now since Scally was one of the liveliest players (because he missed FIFA's brutal quali sched and was in top form).

Weah coming on 81' mark. Why did they take so long? Lille were not getting anything going and really needed Timmy there.

    OK, better late than never.

Weah looks a little stiff but his first play is to chest down a toucgh pass with defender on him then switching play at the top of the box because he doesnt have a clear shot.

LIlle playing much better now. Weah again involved.

Why in the world did Lille wait so long to put Weah on?

I'm guessing it was justifiable faith in Jonathan David. But I didn't put it on until Weah came on.

Weah too late, after PSG had scored to draw even.

Final score: PSG 2-1 Lille. Thank you Jocelyn!

Weah had one quarter chance from distance but hit side netting; keeper had it well covered anyway.
