xeka and andre are so uninspiring in the middle. bamba isnt completing any passes. this is like a psa on why teams dont use 442 anymore.

is sanches moving/gone? they need some life in the middle, and to find some way to get the ball to david/yilmaz or theres no reason to have both in.

timmys doing fine its just a lumbering match. with he had been more selfish around the 35th and taken the keeper on rather than playing to yilmaz...

bamba finally looking dangerous, david missed a golden chance. looks like lille are close to a second...

Yep, LOSC fans saying he's earned points with what he's shown today.

It's amazing that Gioacchini's Montpellier is doing better than Weah's Lille at this point. Folks were expecting the former to be a relegation candidate.

Both are playing. Weah was out injured for three games and Nico has been mostly a sub, but both have plenty of minutes.

I was really surprised to see Frankowski playing at Euro as he was nobody at Chicago. Although on another hand everybody is nobody at Chicago.

Well, Poland was nobody at the Euro, so it sort of makes sense.

Goal for David - Yilmaz great play to get open for a chipped cross, Weah near post run, cross finds David's far post run for a pretty easy header. 1-0 Lille.

Andre heads home a Burak corner, and they're up 2-0. Weah has been effective, but not too notable either way.
