I hope he is not being rushed back. I will not be surprised if he will simply be used as an emergency sub though using Roberto as a RB seems a recipe for disaster against Bayern.
Hw was smart enough to sit down and take off his boot when he realized he was too hurt to play. That can make all the difference in how long it takes to recover.
RB Salzburg, Juve and RB Leipzig too... just a bit miffed that Gio and CP can't contribute... especially the former. Gio got off to such a hot start and BVB is pretty deep up front... I wanted him to lock down that duel 8/10 role and hopefully be moved there for the USMNT in October. Now I don't expect to see him until after the Intl Break.
Roberto against Davies? He would get torched. He is way too slow to play RB now. If Dest can't go then I think they should play Mingueza at RB in a two CB system and keep him back and just let Alba get forward on the left. Mingueza is all that fast but he tackles pretty well. Hard to see how Barca gets a result here... even with Dest in.
He'll get a little bit of rope but it won't be pretty. It is quite the fall for Barcelona. Gerard Piqué post-match: "It's a bad result, we're not going to lie. It is what it is, we have a lot of youngsters here. It is a very difficult year. They [Bayern] were much better. We have players like Ansu, Ousmane, Kun to all come back and help us."
