I see we have some "home" games scheduled that we wont be able to play here. Not sure where these games will be played.

I think we'll be right for the games next year, esp the Japan one. It won't be in Qld, WA, SA, or Tas, but Syd or Melb will be open for it.
I take it the game against China in Doha is behind closed doors? Was hoping to go but doesn't look like they are selling tickets at all here...
I'm still doubtful about home games this cycle. Can't see us playing at home this year. Hopeful the last couple of home games get played at home. Thought there was no chance of playing in Sydney this time, and the proposed venue was in the heaviest locked down area. Probably easier for the squad to stay in the middle east as there is no way we would have had a crowd when people aren't allowed to travel more than 5km for recreation..
Socceroos squad: Daniel Arzani, Aziz Behich, Martin Boyle, Milos Degenek, Kenny Dougall, Mitchell Duke, Callum Elder, Denis Genreau, Rhyan Grant, Ajdin Hrustic, Jackson Irvine, Chris Ikonomidis, Jimmy Jeggo, Fran Karacic, Awer Mabil, Ryan McGowan, Riley McGree, Aaron Mooy, Tom Rogic, Mathew Ryan, Trent Sainsbury, Harry Souttar, Adam Taggart, Lawrence Thomas, Danny Vukovic. Well and truly stuck in the playoff spot after a fairly abysmal performance against Oman. Two matches remaining, both against better teams. Only the most optimistic people didn't see this coming with Arnold in charge.
I'm optimistic! If we can't beat these two teams, then we didn't deserve to be in the World Cup anyway. Or, if we end up third, we've got maybe UAE and Uruguay. Piece of piss!
I enjoy seeing Graham Arnold eat his words. He was talking a lot of crap about coming into an environment with a culture problem and being afraid to lose. Ange led the Socceroos to an Asian Cup. GA shouldn't be talking nonsense when he hasn't won anything with the NT.
I know we don't. As much as I love my Sydney FC, if the starting left & right backs are Grant and King, then we're in trouble as a National side. And Mitch Duke as the impact sub off the bench.........
it all depends on the next home match vs japan. if socceroos fail to get three points there then it will be all over away vs saudi, because japan will surely collect three points vs vietnam at home. if socceroos beat japan at home and win away vs saudi, then given japan win at home vs vietnam, it will be up to goal differential which socceroos have the advantage. but at this stage i predict that japan will qualify directly in place of socceroos.
