I care about the draw, but I don't need to watch the draw. The key to the draw is the 3rd team in each group, if they are any good then it might be exciting, otherwise most groups are too predictable.

538 have a good website that lists teams with odds for making the round of 16. If you change the list to list by group, you can see which groups might be any good.

Also on that site is says the Australia - China match will be on ESPN Deportes in Spanish.
I am not sure if that is correct or not though.

And my gut was wrong and you were on the right track.
The bad news is CBS Sports Network will not broadcast the game.

For those of us who do not have Paramount or just like regular TV better than streams Universo and your local Telemundo affiliate will have the match so that is good news as long as you do not mind the language.

Yeah it’s either P+ in English or Universo en Espanol.

I’ve got both and I’m watching 2T of PAN-MEX right now.

Sadly but not surprisingly the Paramount stream is almost a minute behind the Universo broadcast. And of course there’s no pause or rewind controls on P+. At least not on Roku.

Some day I trust they’ll work out these kinks. But how many years will it take???

PS. I may like Clint Dempsey more as an offbeat studio analyst than I did as a player. ;)

That's a pretty underwhelming cast there

It’s people that know Serie A and won’t slag it like an all English cast will, so I’m happy with it.

You know who else knows Serie A and won't slag it? The world feed announcers.

Yes, the world feed announcers are actually orettty good. And they use them on all but one or two games a week. The tweet I posted was about the studio cast for the pre-game/halftime/post-game shows.

The two Tuesday morning Europa Conference games aren't showing up as available to watch on Paramount Plus. I thought they were streaming all the games.

There's no commentary on the game, it's just the stadium noise. I found both games under the LIVE TV option in the header, then scrolled down and both games were available to watch.

So its available on their website, but it doesnt show up on the PS4 app. Even when going into the live tv section on the PS4, they dont have either of the games listed. Weird.

Had an issue with Milan game not being available on PS4 game a few weekends ago. Tech support just told me to restart the app. Lol.

Got an email back from Paramount Plus saying that currently Champions League and Serie A games are not supported on PS4, but it will be looked into.......very confusing.

Am pretty happy with the coverage of the European int'l competitions so far. So many games, its difficult to keep up. Good announcers. I like how they cut the halftime out of the replays.

Would it kill them though to have the stream run a bit further at the end of a match, though? Bit of a buzz-kill for games that have dramatic endings and/or big upsets, and then you find yourself staring at a blank screen 5 seconds after the final whistle.

Yeah, and how about they include some lineup info before the match! And do they really need to show every single substitution??? That's a real time killer... seems like an AI algorithm is doing that.

For the gold standard of well edited highlights, they should look to IMG's production over the years for the EPL Review Show. I've never seen anything much better than that.

I couldn't watch Panama-USA live. So now here it is three hours after the match should have ended and the replay is not posted.

Costa RIca v. El Salvador started at the same time and it is posted. Mexico v. Honduras started an hour later and it is already posted?!?!

WTF?? ESPN + replays are basically posted immediately after the match is over. Not sure why Paramount can't get their act together and do this.

Also, on the Spanish side, what is wrong with Telemundo not airing the match on the OTA channel and instead of opting to show it on Universo. I would think that they would have gotten a lot of English language viewers who don't have Paramount.

    Just frustrating all around.
