They’ve got 50+ shots this season and 0 goals. They’ve actually got a pretty talented attack but they’ve gotta get in sync.
FMF playing nice with Wolves Lage praises Mexico for Jimenez decision | Wolverhampton Wanderers FC (wolves.co.uk)
I think it's in everyone's interests that Raul plays. He's been out for so long that he needs these competitive matches to get back to where he was before the accident. Mexico will benefit in the longer term, though I appreciate that it's frustrating for them.
Damn. Personal story: did this in practice once, guy missed a wide open tap in. He comes to me and says, stop doing that sht, youre not gonna do it during a game. Y'all should guess my response.
Wolves sold some good players and bought overrated Portuguese players. They spent a fortune on a 18 year striker last year who is not 1st division material when they probably could’ve signed 2-3 players to have better depth especially in the midfield. They really screwed themselves up.
He had a nice header that almost went in and nice pass to set up his teammate again perfectly. He's looking good but needs that first damn goal to come. Felt like his whole team was taking shots way outside the box. Pura desperdicia. Moutinho ya esta grande. They need more mids.
Only Liverpool and Man City have had more shots in the EPL than Wolves so far this season. They were unlucky against Leicester, Tottenham and Man U - all teams expected to finish in the top 6. If you feel that Wolves are poor then that's fine, you're entitled to your own opinions, but if Raul can't score in a side that is set up to attack like Wolves currently are, how well do you think he'll do elsewhere? Raul needs to find his mojo. Before his injury, he would have buried that header in the back of the net. On top of that, Wolves are adjusting to a new coach who favours a completely different approach to what he predecessor used.
