Really interesting on his wages given all the British speculation.

Yea man he isn’t trading England for Turkey. They still have to pay him regardless.

inter has a ton of these assholes. It’s a golden handshake of half his wages to leave then he will sign for a team he wants:)

    Hope RayoColombiano :)

It's unclear if he has any real "access," like Romano does, but he is a great clearinghouse for transfer information/rumours on the web. He calls out a lot of stuff as "exclusive" that is just a touch different than what is being speculated elsewhere (like the Lucumi deals which were speculated in the Italian and German press, he just shared them here with a spin) but I find a learn about a lot of deals that would have flown under my Twitter radar otherwise by following him too.

He’s definitely at a crossroads in his career. Players start heading to Turkey towards the end of their careers and I’m sure James still feels like he’s capable of performing for a top club European club. I won’t agree with him but I also disagree that he’s washed up enough to have to go to Turkey. I believe a mid table team in Spain or Italy would be good for him.

he was linked to Lazio. He would have bossed at Lazio or Atalanta......

Neither of those teams will pay him anywhere near his wages tho.

Especially how childish he is acting now

In fairness, he was great for Everton when he was on the field. It's not about his loss of form or inability to impact games at top level competition - he just isn't playing.

Additionally, if health and fitness are really issues, do any teams want to invest in him?

If the gamble is for him to 20 games - then he can play for any top team

If the gamble is for him to be a 40+ games, then I doubt anyone is in a rush to have him on a team.

This is the chief issue. His salary is high but not absurd but I think the realization that he doesn't get more than 30 games a season in is the dagger.

His salary is high and he is injury prone but he does bring one of the top social media presences in the world for a footballer, but that also could drop off with him basically not playing and Colombians getting frustrated with him. There's a compromise where he doesn't get paid the max and he gets to go where he wants and the club get to add shirt sales and promotions to his limited game time, but he doesn't seem hell bent on playing all the time which is obviously a big red flag for a player.

Luis Diaz being linked to Barcelona...which is a terrible move for him at the moment. There's also reports of Bayern Munich having supposed interest but nothing credible.
