Panama vs Mexico Estadio Rommel Fernández, Panama City 6:05PM PDT / 7:05PM MST / 8:05PM CST / 9:05PM EST Our last visit to Panama City: Will update this post with the standings once the matchday ends.
With USA and Canada tying 1-1, this now means that this match will define who stays at the top at the end of the third matchday.
Mexico versus Panama is going to be a very physical dangerous game!!!!! We have to get this win, and we will be in great great shape going forward. The question is at what cost??? Vamos Mexico!
Edson is out for this game due to yellow card accumulation Hopefully they go with Romo and not Jona as his replacement
I’m kinda glad Edson won’t play this game, he’s in great form with Ajax and the risk of injury against these guys is always there
Costa Rica has not looked good so far, hopefully they can up their game going forward, one more team for the Nads to contend the playoff with.
My round 3 results would be: Mexico wins Honduras beats the US Canada ties el salvador Costa Rica beats Jamaica Leaving the US at the bottom with Jamaica. The qualifiers will only get harder next round once teams get their Euro players.
Going to be a difficult game, but Mexico should win. Getting out of there without any major injuries is going to be just an important as the 3 points.
he hasn’t played in about a month before these two games. Dude was on the bench waiting for a transfer that never came
Since vega and alvarez are out. ochoa gallardo araujo montes sanchez orbelin o jona romo guardado antuna tecatito Martin
----------------------Ochoa Dominguez---Araujo---Montes--Gallardo ----------------------Romo------------------ ---------Rodriguez----------Cordova- Antuna-----------Martin-------Corona/Pineda
I like this but I would take out Martin after 45 if he does not show anything or at least to motivate Funes Mori. If Mexico somehow manages to be 2 up after the first 75 with either FM or Martin, que metan a Giménez. They just have to.
i figured in the summer he was being cautious because of a potential transfer. He did look better against CR than all summer, but not by much.
I think it will a 1-1 tie. Mexico was a little better than both Jamaica and Costa Rica, but that's about it. Panama should be tough a home, I would imagine they will have fans in the crowd, give them a little inspiration. Although I would prefer a win, a tie will keep us in first.
